Morning all.
First day back at work tomorrow after 14.5 months on maternity leave and I am feeling all kinds of ways. On the one hand, excited to get back into a routine, on the other dreading getting back into a routine (I have very much become accustomed to waking up leisurely at about 8am, and going back to bed if required during the day when LO naps). Bathroom is now tiled and ready for final fixtures and fittings to go back in tomorrow, which means I get a final day of just me in the houseat least until I go and retrieve LO from the childminder at 2pm. I think I have definitely caught another cold as I am feeling a bit headachy but nothing too bad.
List for the day is looking long but realistically is pretty minimal, enough to keep me busy:
1) Strip bed
2) Empty dishwasher
3) Finish editing and upload recent youtube video
4) Film another one to have in the bank to post when I can't be bothered to film
5) Two loads of washing
6) Sort out and post some seeds to my sister
7) Wipe kitchen counters down
8) Remake bed
9) Put away coats sorted out from the other day
10) Start potting on tomatoes
11) Take out recycling
12) Return library books
13) Get more milk and ? jacket pots for dinner from shop
Several of the tasks won't take more than 10 minutes each leaving plenty of time for coffee and relaxing today.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January7 -
Whizzing past to say thank you for the thread, I’ll be in from later today. But especially here to send enormous posi vibes to Mr Piggers. The job sounds absolutely up his street. Keeping it all crossed for him.
Back later, off to have hair cut and to fill DD’s car with petrol on the way.

OH getting a cuppa and breakfast and getting ready for his interview.. he 'doesn't know what to wear' .. my philosophy is... better over-dressed than under-dressed.. it shows you have made an effort and think the job is worth making an effort for IMO.. we shall see.cuppa for me and then I get to prod Squeak to work.
Piddling with rain so nothing outsidey/laundry getting done.

As you say Piggers, better smarter dressed for job interviews. Please remind Mr Pigpen that all interviewers are hoping the perfect candidate will walk through the door which is often more about attitude and willingness than anything else. I'm sending him massive posi-vibes all morning.I need to put the final touches to my funeral trip plan today, start clearing some gibble from my office which is knee-deep in it after months of just dumping stuff in there for someone to stay in it for four nights next week, and start putting the tomato plants out during the day - all at the very least today before I run out of energy.Better is good enough.8

Just popping in to assure Mr Pigpen of strong posivibes from this neck of the woods xx
I have flung upstairs windows open for an hour, filed away all my health paperwork (lots of it!), PUPA in the LR, eaten breakfast, S&S'd kitchen, made a successful phonecall to the bank. Now I need to sort out the 8-legged energy company who have not yet told me how much they are charging me for the gas I used between 26th March and 16th April when I switched to another provider. Why they couldn't work it out at the same time as the leccy bill is beyond me!
Hope you all have a good day. The sun is shining here atm xxx7 -
