That sounds nasty, Fayolle.

Cake made, most dailies done and I have sorted the big cupboard.  There are three boxes for DH to go through when he's home and a huge pile of stuff for a friend doing a car boot sale.  Still raining.  When-if- it stops I'll go outside to put out the recycling and find boxes to put all the stuff in.

Until then I'm also going to read.

I've been to church, survived the Annual Parochial Church Meeting, been to MrS for some tinned marmalade oranges, and made bacon, egg and tomato sandwiches for lunch - very nice it was, too!  DH has now gone out wargaming, and my next job (after cake for dessert!) will be to take Rosie round the Covert between the heavy showers.  I shall join the bakers later.  In the meantime, I am decluttering another slice of the lemon drizzle to make room for some scones in the freezer

It's lovely and quiet here 😊
I have done WMx3 - last lot in the TD. Emptied the DW. Watered the plants, including in the greenhouse. Other than that I have been catching up on work admin.
I may take myself for a little walk (after checking the forecast), just for some fresh air & exercise. This is when I miss having a dog as it forced me to go out in all weathers!

Dailies are done. It stopped raining but I suddenly felt unwell so I went to bed for a couple of hours.Poppet is annoyed she hasn't had a walk but DGD2 will be here any minute so it won't happen now.

We now have a working doorbell - no longer relying solely on Rosie's hearing.  And there are a few less dandelions and oxalis in the back garden.

Well, we did get out for a walk and I feel so much better having had some fresh air.  We had tea then went splashing in puddles.  A very tired little girl is now in bed.  See you all on the new thread.
