Cloth_of_Gold said:Piggers, I'm confused about your family - it features a lot of people and you seem to have young children but also grandchildren. Maybe you could post a family tree.
Anyay, I feel as ifI'm living two peoples' lives but you seem to be living about a dozen! I really don't know how you do it.
I can get super complicated and say I have 4 youngers sisters.. the middle 2 were born 5 weeks apart. My grandmother is still alive at 95 and is a great-great-grandmother!

I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, sorted washing into loads, set first load swishing, and I'm supping my first brew.
piggers - L is 4 next weekend? Wow. Where did that time go?
I'll be back with a Round. I need another brew first - synapses are still asleep 😴

Morning all,
I have excelled myself for a Saturday - up and out by 8.30am, picked up new glasses in big town by 9.15am. Home (since when did flashing from behind for actually doing the speed limit become acceptable behaviour?? If you don’t like it, overtake me), coffee had, ready to start flying. It is cold and damp. The rain has just stopped, but due to start again later, so it is indoor jobs for today again, whilst tilting my head weirdly to get used to said new glasses. DSis is coming this afternoon, so I have bought biscuits. Any leftovers will be freely available for WAC. Out for dinner this evening with DH and his cousin.Might just have slipped a hopeful summer dress in the basket at Mr S, paid for with Nect@r points, so that’s free, am I right?! I have dressmaking fabric being delivered later. That makes me very happy. Then I have also seen some new sock wool that DD will like…
Pigpen - not only L, but how did Twinkle get to be 7 already??
Have a lovely day all. I am going to shine up my flylady halo. It is very tarnished atm.9 -
Pigpen, I'm exhausted just reading about your extended family and what is, I'm sure, just some of their needs. Nicola Horlick is a rank amateur compared to you! I don't know about a medal, you need a Damehood at the very least.I got up reasonably early to find that A's face was bright red and so dry and flaky it looked as if someone had covered it with desiccated coconut. I gave him some of my exfoliant and he got most of it off with that, although not his eyelids or the area immediately around his eyes, as you can't really use it there. He then washed it off and deep moisturised and it looked a lot better, thank goodness. He really does need to use the moisturiser more regularly as it will help to keep it at bay. Apart from how awful it looks and feels for him he also risks getting a recurrence of the eye infection he had last year. One his face had settled down a bit I gave him some drops, and more after lunch.Just after 9 I took a bag of recycling down and then went out to the bakery for a cheese straw and a pain au chocolat for A, driving as it was wet. The car said it was only 7.5 degrees, which is crazy for London, considering it's almost May. I bought the paper on the way home and also something from the chemist for A. After I'd got back I made us a coffee and then screwed one of the legs back on a small convection heater as it had fallen off.Other than that I have made lunch and WUPA the breakfast, coffee and lunch things, done a bit of ironing, done some indoor gardening, S&S in the kitchen and bathroom and put away a Waitrose delivery. I'm now TDing some socks which I'd started to TD a couple of days ago but forgot to finish on the rack and were still in the machine.
A is watching an old film on BBC2 so I'm going to ring my brother now and then it will be time to make A a cup of tea.

Two loads of washing now draped on the airer and radiators.
Rubbish binned, and new bags put in bins. Birds fed.
Had a couple of hours with Pops this morning and had a read-a-book afternoon.

£50K from ebay and Avon - that's impressive.Rang my brother and he said that and his wife went to Brigg market this morning. They looked for you @roundtuit but couldn't see you.Made tea for A and then gave him his eye drops and helped him exfoliate again as they dry flakiness had returned after which he put more moisturiser on. I'm not sure that using my exfoliant more than once a day is a good idea as it's not intended for what A is using it for and it may be making the redness worse. The GP has referred him to a dermatologist but she said it would take months to get an appointment and suggested he saw someone privately. If it doesn't clear up of its own accord soon I hope he does that as he can't go on like this for months on end.I'm going to make our supper now - just a sandwich, which is good as that is quick and easy.8

Hi all
Thanks ASB x. I think work is getting to me a bit at the moment. I need a few days off.
Busy day helping DH out with his business, didn't sleep very well last night so tired now.
Tomorrow we have nothing planned which is nice but I should really do some work on DHs accounts. There is a bit of flying to do too.
Feel vaguely unsettled but not sure why, maybe it's just because I am tired.8 -
cleaned at work; as well as doing the floor i’ll need to see to other things on a rota basis. I did a window, too
managed to get washing drying outside, so it’s been ironed and put on the maiden.
