Best of luck/good vibes for tomorrow Mr Pigpen.
A slightly improved day for motivation; out of interest I just used hay fever eye drops and not the loratadine tablets; I had a feeling they might contain wheat but just done a search and it seems not; just a coincidence then.
- went to zumba. Lovely class but sadly our instructor told us she is moving so won't be with us for much longer.- Went to the library.
- lots done in garden. We have a big winter-flowering honeysuckle on one side of our front door (and over the arch of the porch), with variegated ivy and clematis on the other side. The honeysuckle has finished flowering recently and new shoots immediately grow about a foot in a week, so it was time for a big clip. I sheared as much as I could reach, then cut ivy right back to a foot high (thus decluttering the roof guttering!). Coveted long-handled lightweight hedge trimmer so have just found a cheap one on Amaz00 and ordered it (along with more loratadine). Huh, internet vanished; re-booted but no show so I’m writing this on Monday eve but who knows when it will send.- Did a bit more of a report, saving it on local drive as no internet.
- Did some drumming practice.
- Cleared a few bits from the kitchen.
- Cleared a few ‘flagged’ emails.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
ASB I agree, but I refuse to be cold at night, it is down to about -1 or so overnight, with 4 or so during the evenings, just too cold for me. If it wasn't for the cats I would be seriously be considering going to else where in the world for 4 months of winter, to stay with adopted GS and his other family. BTW he is 19 now!!Well Kaz's taxi service has just gone on strike, having been informed who I am picking upon Thursday night and what time and where I am taking them all, / collecting. No asking. Seriously considering buying a smart car, ie 2 seater. mine is about 15 /16 yers old, but I don't do the milege I use to, so it is ok for pottering around in, but a 2 seater means I cannot be used as a taxi service, and would be great for pottering around in.WM cleanedDW cleanedGreen bin emptiedBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I'm home 😊
Posted Sh's card and paid the rent on my way home. I'm in my scruffs, unpacked my lunch bag, dealt with the mail - envelopes binned, contents to be shredded, and I'm savouring my coffee.
Steady day at work today apart from something coming up which indicated that my medical record had been accessed. I sent an email to a Systems Administrator saying it was probably quite innocent but would she check please. She phoned me back to someone has accessed my record and I need to go through the correct channels- so I'm waiting for HR to ring me back. There's no reason why anyone should have accessed my medical record yesterday. So I'm a bit spooked. I don't like mysteries. I still hope it's explainable - but I'm ready to go the distance if it's a colleague been snooping. Although I really can't think why they would. 🤔
Any news piggers?

Afternoon all.Hope it went well this morning piggers. That's very odd Round - does your organisation hold detailed medical records on everyone? This morning I cleaned the bathroom, S&S the kitchen and vacuumed the hallway. Helped A with some personal admin. Made a couple of phone calls about a local issue, which took ages, made a coffee for us both and WUPA breakfast and coffee things. Made lunch, WUPA again, went for a walk and to buy the paper (rather late). De-cluttered some emails, made tea for A and another coffee for me, washed up.I thought I had a Zoom meeting this evening but I haven't heard anything from the organiser. It's a regular, monthly, meeting and I would normally have heard by now. I e-mailed her a few hours ago to check if it is going ahead but she hasn't replied. If it is I need to do A's supper early so if I don't hear soon I will have to give my apologies if it does happen. We're having mince and mash so although it's a simple enough meal, equally it can't be rustled up in 5 minutes.8

CoG - I work for the NHS 😊
IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme8 -
Hi all
What a day. Something has gone wrong at work which is not directly my fault but I should have checked that someone else had done things properly, and they haven't. I am not entirely sure of the outcome but it could cost the company money. What's done is done, it's all part of the fun of being the boss (and human, with a ridiculous workload). I am trying not to fret. My assistant isn't in tomorrow and I need to get some more details from her before I confess all to the big boss.
Our bed has been stripped and remade and the WM is on. DH did a roast dinner while I whizzed the hoover round and dusted. Recycling out for collection. I was up early so managed 30 minutes of strength training before the paid stuff. It's been freezing cold and raining, again.
Is it nearly weekend?8 -
roundtuit said:CoG - I work for the NHS 😊Does that mean that your medical records are available for people not involved in any treatment or investigations you're having/have had to view? Isn't there a 'wall' between Round the employee and Round the patient? You would think that access to people's records, medical or otherwise, would be on a 'needs to know' basis. I'm not surprised you're concerned but let's hope there is an innocent explanation.@YORKSHIRELASS mistakes happen and unless the company you work for sees mistakes as an opportunity to apportion blame rather and than as an opportunity to learn something for the future, your boss should be understanding. This is especially so if s/he knows how much you have on you plate and that it didn't happen because you were reckless or incompetent, as I'm sure they do.I never heard anything about the meeting so I don't know what's happened there. I made supper and am going to wash up shortly.8
