Evening all
Yep it was very brrr this morning! It has warmed up a bit but that means the wind and rain is back 🙄🙄 give me -5 and sunny any day of the week!!Half day paid stuff done. I didn’t hoover upstairs but I can live with that. The kids and I made a cake in the air fryer which was a disaster 🤣🤣 and fit only for the bin! Oh well!Busy day ahead tomorrow - car in for MOT at 8am, full day of paid stuff, have to see my ex when he collects the kids, will definitely need wine for evening. Also dropping meat and eggs off that I have sold to friends. Alarm is set for 5.30am and I’ve just banked both fires up with coal (I think I’ll be saying this all year round at this rate!!).Round we had chicken with noodles for tea. Except DS decided he has gone off chicken so only had noodles 🙄🙄 then a round of toast! I ate some rice pudding out of the tin for my supper 😳😳🤷♀️🤷♀️Sleep well all xx7 -
@kazwookie thanks, yes I'll have a look. This is the third one I've had as the first one, which was given to me by a friend 30 years ago, broke (the base, which is very thick glass, suddenly came away and left me drenched in gin and tonic! I only use it for water now though.) A replaced it for me then I had an accident with that one and I bought another. I'm not usually clumsy but it's one of those things. I could use any old glass really but I've grown to like this one and its predecessors over the last 30 years.@Asparklierblonde I hope seeing your ex isn't too stressful. At least it will be a fairly short encounter I would imagine. I will be sending you positive vibes.I made our supper and washed up, have put out A's breakfast things and have done 2/3 of the night time eye meds. I have to wait 30 mins between numbers 2 and 3, but that will be up in 10 mins. I'm feeling a bit off colour, presumably from the vaccination, so am looking forward to going to bed. Hopefully I'll be back to normal tomorrow. Night all.7

turkey fillet and carrot/potato waffles... with cucumber. My mouth is still incredibly sore but actually feels a little bit better since I clicked my jaw back in place, I hadn't realised it was dislodged.. but my ear hurts less too so there was clearly something wrong.
I have grandbeasts in the morning as DD1 has dentist.. I need to find some floor!
I finished Beanies cardigan and started the front of a rainbow cabled jumper? /Hoodie? for Jazzles..

Good morning my lovelies xx
First of all I have a message for you from P. THANK YOU. He phoned to say how well the procedure went, very little of the pain he'd expected and none of the possible after effects felt so far; and I told him that I'd invoked the power of flylady. His response? 'Well it works!' 😊
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and supped a brew. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off to the paid stuff. I'm allovertheplace with what day it is having had a couple of days off work. But I believe it's Friyayyyyyy.
I had a word with a colleague yesterday which included my fear of falling and not being able to get up. She's a physiotherapist- and is going to set aside half an hour to show me some balancing and strengthening exercises, and how to get up. I've been meaning to ask her for ages...now the bullet is bit.
Golly, I've sneezed a lot this morning. 🤧
The blue tits are busy flitting in and out of my bird box. 😍
Wishing you all a peaceful day.

Miserable day here today.
Bathroom is still being done, so I can't do any washing or get the DW on. Kitchen is a minor bombsite, as is the living room. Can't do much in the bedroom as the cats are hiding from the plumber in there. It's my last (official) day of mat leave before I return to work next week and 'normality'. My list for today is therefore not very Flylady orientated:
* Go to the gym (this takes care of showering as well as exercising, though I might leave this until after LO has gone to bed. OH might be able to join me before we pick him up if his meetings end early enough, either way it's not a morning activity).
* Unload and reload DW ready to go on when plumber has gone
* Fold clothes from TD and get another load ready to go into WM when plumber has gone
* Upload three items to my etsy shop which I started with fervour two weeks ago then when the RTW blues hit and I've ignored it ever since
* Tidy up the office - it seems to go to !!!!!! in here every other daywon't take me long to do though.

Round, thanks for the lovely message from P.I had a terrible night as I seem to have had a bad reaction to the shingles vaccine. By midnight I felt quite unwell and couldn't stop shivering. Eventually that stopped but throughout the night and the first part of this morning I had all manner of aches and pains, including in my chest, briefly. I also had ringing in my ears and no energy and just generally felt unwell.I didn't get up until nearly 10 (and that was only because I had a Waitrose order coming between 10 and 11) and still feel very tired (although might be in part because I slept so badly) and I have bit of a headache. I'm supposed to have a second dose in two months but I'm not sure about that.Needless to say there has been minimal flying done. I did go out briefly to get the paper and post something and I've washed up A's breakfast thing, had a S&S in the kitchen and dead-headed some flowers and given them fresh water. I'm nearly time for lunch but I'm not really hungry so I might just have a pear for lunch and go back to bed for a while.7

Hi Cloth_of_Gold. I was like you after my first shingles jab but had my second one a week ago and just felt tired for the rest of the day, so hopefully your second one will be better too.7

I hope the second is better. I wish I"d looked up the side effects because having now done so I se that most of mine are listed under common side effects. Had I know I shouldn't have been so worried but the nurse just said that my arm might be sore and I might be a little lethargic for a while. I"m feeling better now, thank goodness, so hopefully by tomorrow I"ll be back to normal.Flying: prepared lunch and washed up.One piece of good news is my friend's 90 year old father who had been in hospital for over 6 months finally came home yesterday. My friend has had a covid/flu-like illness for 3 or 4 weeks now though so I hope she can get over that soon as, even with carers several time per day, she will have to do a lot of caring again and it is full-on for her as her father has very significant needs, not being able to walk at all.7
