And breathe.....

I'm home. My rent is paid. I'm in my scruffs. I have a coffee. And it's weeeeekeeeennnd. 

Work scenario is what the Chinese would call 'interesting'. Too much smoke and mirrors going on for my sanity....but let's forget about that. Did I mention that it's the weekend? 

Social landlord is sending a surveyor to do a stock survey on Monday. I'm not enamoured about it but I'm not freaking out for England either.....so that's definitely progress. The bathroom needs a going over this weekend. Everywhere else will do.

Did you remember it's the weekend?

I feel so much better now - just tired still, but hopefully if I can get a reasonably good night's sleep I will be more energised tomorrow. Supper made, eaten and washing up done. I've been very slack on A's eye meds today but I'll try and do better tomorrow.

Round..  did you know its the weekend 😁... 

So, a morning at the paid stuff then collected DS to take him to pick up his new car.   DH came too so after we had said goodbye to DS we drove to the coast, bought fish and chips and sat in the car looking out to sea to eat them.  It was far too cold and windy to walk far but it was still nice.

Clean laundry is all put away and the house is fairly tidy.  I am at work tomorrow but it's something a bit different to the normal stuff and shouldn't be too difficult.  I might have some gin next if I can find some tonic and then watch some telly.

If anyone happens to have on Radio 2 tomorrow afternoon approx 5.15pm ish I’m on for a few minutes speaking to Rylan. It’s a pre record so I spoke to him today, whilst waiting for a lift to pick my car up from the garage 🤣🤣. I was on his show last year. I love his Saturday show he makes me smile and love the music. 

Big walk planned for tomorrow, 15 mile round trip up to Tan Hill (told Rylan all
about that too🤣). Friend has promised me a pint when we get there.

A ASB i have moved over to the dark side (followed Ken) and have found Richard Allinson and Simon Mayo there too.  But i’ll try to remember to tune in.

I have strimmed some edges and down tge side of the house to remove weeds, abd swept and cleaned at work.  I am utterly bemused as to how the previous cleaner was managing with the vacuum, the filters were badly blocked, i bet i was a good 10 minutes tapping out tge fine dust.  And the mop is awful, so i’ll get that sorted.  I did ask that she let me know if everything was ok.  Anyway, I’ll get it fettled..

All this grime meant i’ve had a second shower, and i have fresh bedding.

Front and back of jumper finished.. I will throw the neckband on tomorrow and then do the sleeves.. I hate sleeves!

Morning all.  Hope everyone is feeling ok today.  It's the weekend!

I have just been keeping up with dailies really.  Every time I planned gardening it poured with rain.  Bright and sunny this morning though so far.

So today- exercises, admin, breakfast, get dressed, walk Poppet, gardening, village event in afternoon, spend some time with DH.

Did someone say it was the weekend? Ooo goodie gum drops. Yippee! 🥳

I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, and I'm supping a brew. 

Plan of action is to get caught up with basics this morning and that leaves a day and a half (it being the weekend 🙃) for me to attack the bathroom and have a tidy up for this surveyor person coming on Monday morning.

Round 1
Sort washing into loads 
Set first load swishing 
Get dressed 
Feed the birds 
Put out the rubbish and recycling 
Put new bin bags in bins 
WUDUPA pots 
WUDU recycle plastics 

Cold and clear here at the moment- so a pegging out day methinks. I'll see what the forecast says. Note to self: Beware of rogue washbaskets seeking revenge for being trodden on and tripped over last weekend. Oooo there's that word again: weekend 😊

Hey, Round…it’s the weekend 😉.
Not a moment too soon. And what happened to my intention to post each day, even if I made up the flying malarky? That disappeared around Wednesday, I think. So, here we are again at the weekend 😉, very little flying done, although a couple of loads of washing have managed to get dried on the line whilst I’ve been at work. Scraped the car one morning before I could leave, narrowly escaped doing the same the following day.
Today, it being the weekend, I need to fly, indoors and out. Especially at the allotment. But first I need to get a wiggle on and get myself to the hospital for my mammogram appointment.  

CoG, I hope you are feeling better now. That was rubbish about your favourite glass breaking. There is something comforting about a favourite glass with the right contents, whatever they may be.
Round, I’m glad the P got through the procedure ok. Keeping everything crossed for good news. 

Valli, when our old cleaner at work left, we also wondered how on earth she had carried on with the filthy mop and blocked up vacuum cleaner. It turned out that she hadn’t particularly - it took me one morning at work to clean out the vacuum cleaner.
