Yep, Round, you are very special and we wouldn’t change you 💕😊
Oh my days, my legs ache. And my knees. And my back. In fact I just ache. Self inflicted - outdoor flying and free bending exercises to boot.
Mammogram done at lovely small community hospital, walked down to small town to meet DH (he had dropped me off and been to the tip) at the agricultural store. Picked up some feed for the garden / allotment which was an unplanned spend. Then we went to the farm on our way home to pick up some meat to satisfy the resident carnivore. Back home, and I rushed out to the allotment. Dug up more turf (given up calling it weeds) and finally planted the early potatoes. The afternoon was spent wafting around the garden and in the greenhouse, wearing my Laura Ashley dress, floppy hat and carrying a trug 😉. Not really - I wafted in scruffs, if that is even possible.1 load of washing is done and out in the sun. Pork-chop-and-lots-of-veg dinner to cook shortly.Iona, I have read that book with the long title a couple of times now. There is a film version which was on iPlayer for a while. Don’t expect the film to live up to the book, but it is a passable evening’s watching.6 -
Thanks Round - and no, please don't change.Fayolle, I hope that you recover from your outdoor flying soon, and that your mammogram is fine. After lunch I S&S'd in the kitchen and then walked to the butcher. I saw a neighbour sitting outside a cafe near the butcher and she invited me to sit down and have a chat, which I did, so that was nice. After going to the butcher I called in at the bookshop and bought a few cards and then came home and made A a cup of tea. It's nearly time to make supper now.5

Hello all
lots of PUPA done yesterday, lots of washing pegged out. Went shopping, bought stuff for todays Sunday lunch to which I have invited DS, DiL and the Aged Peas. It’s Ma’s birthday Tuesday. Lots of WUALTD, too. Hall vacuumed. Suggested to DD that when she almost drains the vacuum battery it might be worth mentioning it to me. Battery on charge. Listened to Rylan…not sure if I heard ASB or not, Ibiza?
CoG name names, please.

Good morning my lovelies xx
Bit early to be up on a Sunday but I was awake and I wanted a brew, so I'm up, made my bed and I'm supping my first brew. Ahhh. That first sip in a morning is nectar 😘
The blue tits are up and on too. 😍
CoG - who was it please? I wanted to ask before but didn't know the etiquette. But now Valli has asked so it must be OK. 😊
Valli - you OK? (Just noticed the time on your post.) I seem to remember that you recently successfully attacked the mould in your bathroom. What did you use please? That's my focus today.
Hope you are all still giving it big 💤 😴

yes, i’m fine ta, Round.
Id woken up for the loo…then slept solidly until 7 ish. had an unpleasant dream so i was glad to wake up.
I used bleach-soaked loo roll and left it on my sealant (in sections). i put thick bleach on then used the loo roll strips to keep it there, rolled up to make pads.
put another w ash load on as today is forecast to be fine so i can ge5 it dried outside. THE LAUNDRY BASKET IS EMPTY

My 4000th post. Ohhh let's celebrate, come on 🎶 🎵 🥳
I've completed Wordle and Connections, supped brew 2 and eaten breakfast.
Round 1
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Bathroom
Step 1: Put bleach and loo roll, a la Valli, on mould patches on sealant around the bath, and on the window frame.
Step 2a, 2b, and 2c: Mix warm water and white vinegar in a spray bottle and clean the tiles / grout one wall at a time. Hence a, b and c
Step 3: Clean bathroom window.
I'll be back with progress reports.
Must remember to nip to the pharmacy to pick up my missing item. (It'd better be in stock now as I'm completely out.)
Have a good day.

Round 1 and Step 1 have been completed.
I swear there is something that does not like to see me making progress. And I know it's not the first time I've said this. Went out to feed the birds: manhole cover in the backyard has risen approx 4 inches because of the pressure of a build up of 💩 under it. And leaked onto the paving slabs. I've notified the sewerage company online and by phone - they'll be out in the next 48 hours!!! OK says I, but if it's risen 4 inches since yesterday I dread to think what state it'll be in by Tuesday.
I'm going to have a coffee and regroup. I am not going to be derailed by this actual 💩 or the metaphorical 💩skip at work.
I'm a bit scared of standing up to the 'something' but I'm done with making myself small to suit it. If it's going to take me down I'm going down fighting. If it's that scared of me standing up maybe it'll do a runner when I don't back down. Have faith. Be strong. Keep on believing. I lift up my heart ❤
Right. Coffee. And then tile cleaning. 💪

Round, we had that here a while back, water board came out fairly quickly as they have depot about 1 mile from here, it turned out there as a 'fat burg' or 'wet wipe' blockage in the main sewer in the road, that was backing up to the insepction point on my drive and running down my drive! waterboard person sorted it in about 10 mins flat, with some superdooper pressure hose on his van.Bins doneKitchen sortedOther small stuff doneOff to get a bit for my power washer as it won't work, just had a text to say it is in.Have a good day allBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
