Steps 2a, 2b, and 2c completed. Not perfect but better than it was.

Had a peep under a piece of bleachy loo roll. Oooo. That looks promising. 😊

Also diluted vinegar sprayed the mould on the ceiling- which I could just reach by standing on tiptoe in the bath- that came off really easily.

It needs decorating in there. That's the trouble when you remove the layer of dust - it shows up the decor 🤣 I can't believe that I'm sat here considering having a bash at it. Not today obvs!

piggers - my drain goes into next door and on to the main sewer from there. But NN says theirs is clear. So the blockage is between my manhole and theirs....where usually it's somewhere under their garage floor on the way to the main sewer. It must have been building up a long time....that's a lot of 💩 for one person!

I can't believe how much I'm enjoying the flying. I can only think that breaking it down into bite size pieces combined with the loss of 23 lbs chubbage has resulted in this transformation 🤔.  My flying pilot light is lit woot woot. It's only taken nearly 14 years...no use crying over spilt milk.

    Food now. I need food.

Next round of washing out on the line and some dry stuff brought in and now 2 half loads in the machines.

OH and 2 smalls outside washing the car.

Filters and canister washed on Feargal.. it might be better when it is dry.

I have a pile to go upstairs and the bed to remake. I have so much stuff to do in this hovel .. I am refusing to give in to the overwhelm and make progress.

Step 3 completed, plus I wiped down the landing windowsill and inside the front door.

Drove into town to pick up.my prescription and came back via the motorway to give Vincent a good run at speed which DB says he needs once a month to prevent something sorting up.

I'm really pleased your sewer problem has been sorted out Round - that sounds potentially horrible.

Not much to report here - a fairly quiet day. I went to the 08.30 and stopped off at the bakery on the way back. Went out for a short walk and made us both a coffee when I got back and we shared a pain au chocolat (I don't normally eat between getting up and lunch but made an exception today). Watched an old episode of Only Connect on catch-up, made lunch, washed up, emptied the kitchen bin and took the bag down, watched Escape to the Country and dreamed of escaping to the country :D S&S in the kitchen, made A a cup of tea and me another coffee and that's it, apart from giving eye drops.
