I feel terrible. I just want to goto sleep and not wake up. BF and I split up today. He's moved half his stuff out already. Crazy thing is that we still love each other but we're not doing each other any good. I can't stop crying. I hate this.

It really will get better honestly and please do not forget that you are worth so so much more than all of the upset that you are suffering today. Call a friend to come over and then get hold of the most American girly flicks that you can lay your hands on and lots of chocolate and no matter how desperate your budget is a big box of decent quality tissues and it will all start to get better. :o

Thanks. Unfortunately friends are kind of thin on the ground around here. I've been at my sister's crying all over her while he moved some of his stuff out.

I'm just hurting so much. We've both had loads to deal with lately and it seems that we weren't able to deal with all that and each other. I miss him so much already. Coming back to the house was so difficult, then it got much worse when I started seeing all the things that are missing.

The house is a pig sty too and I don't have the strength to tidy up. I just can't stop crying.

I've just realised that I can't afford to keep my house now. I really depended on the money he gave me every month. This just gets worse.

When I feel up to it I'll post a new SOA. Might be a few days though.

I do sort of understand what you are going through because when I split up with my ex I was left homeless and quite literally peniless except that I was not brave like you and did not sort anything out and ran away to the other end of the country to hide from all of my debts and all of the hurt. Can you stay at your sisters for the time being? I know it is only words but things really do get better and the pain will ease much more quickly than you would think just keep your chin up and keep smiling no matter how much it hurts.

Unfortunately a lodger is out of the question. Could be a bit too cosy in a one bedroom flat.

    Aw Babe... :grouphug:

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Try to stay friends and maybe he'll come to his senses.

Did the police want a word about this?

No they did not but with hindsight they might have given me a services to society reward if they had. :rotfl:

Oh mupeteer, just read your thread, so sorry to hear about you and OH splitting up, especially after the rough ride you've had recently.

ZTD's right, give it a little while and he may come to his senses. My OH finished with me after a bit of a rough patch. It lasted a week before he asked me not to leave him. I think he just needed to actually do it to realise what it meant. Two years on and things there are still ups and downs, but things have never got as bad as they did before the split.

And if he doesn't come to his senses, then you have the strength to deal with what it throws at you, and you'll be free to meet a lovely bloke who isn't controlled by his freaky and totally unreasonable family.

    Big hugs to you.
