My head is feeling much better so I'm having a bit of a clean up and clear out. I've got an old tvto get rid of and was thinking of taking it to Cash Generator. Does anyone have any idea of prices or how they work.
Moving on to CDs and books next. Amazon for them I think.

Well BF and I finally had a talk about everything that has happened. We only got round to it after I started crying when he came home and didn't come and give me a kiss as he usually would.
It was horrible. He still says I was snippy, I still say I wasn't. I told him I wasn't prepared to put up with his sister being a !!!!! all the time and he basically told me that right now she is the most important thing. He even said he would move out.
Anyway, upshot of it all is, after a lot of crying we've called a truce. I'm not going to pander to her every whim but I will remain reasonable and help her if I'm able timewise and without letting her take the !!!!. It's up to BF what he does but I have said that I wont defend him anymore and I wont take any crap from him about his sister.
Things are now much better in our house. It's a much better atmosphere and I feel much happier.
I have sent his sister a couple of texts asking how she is doing and, until about 20 minutes ago, she kept ignoring them. She then replied to ask if I had called the CSA or the council for her yet. I simply replied that I hadn't as I have been on placement.
I will see her tonight so that should be a bundle of laughs. She and the baby were allowed out of hospital for a while and we are taking them back later on. Then her son is coming to stay over tonight. Oh joy. But I did say I would be reasonable.
No doubt I'll be on here later to have a rant after I've seen her. I will try to stay calm and prove that i am the better person. *Grits teeth!*Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

I hope that also includes not wanting to hear about it when she upsets him.Things are now much better in our house. It's a much better atmosphere and I feel much happier.
Good. That's much better.I have sent his sister a couple of texts asking how she is doing and, until about 20 minutes ago, she kept ignoring them.
Only ever send things once, but keep a copy of your outbox for BF purposes. Control freaks love the feeling of control when they ignore you.She then replied to ask if I had called the CSA or the council for her yet. I simply replied that I hadn't as I have been on placement.
I'd be surprised if they'd talk to you - data protection and all that.I will see her tonight so that should be a bundle of laughs. Picture in your mind a small child trying to impress by shouting and swearing - that's her. The best thing to do is laugh every time she's nasty, but that depends on whether you can manage it.

I'm quite proud of myself for being a grown up tonight, even in the face of BFs sister blatantly ignoring me while in her house. She didn't speak to me unless I specifically asked her something but would only give one word answers and wouldn't look at me. Although it was difficult and I felt very uncomfortable I can take some pride on the fact that I was the one behaving in a decent manner.
When we got to the hospital she had changed her tune a bit and was at least speaking to me. Guess she realised it wasn't bothering me. Think I've found the upperhand:p
Now her son and my BF are playing the Wii. Must say that BF is a bit rattled as his nephew is playing badly:rotfl: . Not sure which one is the kid.Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

evening all. I'm supposed to be in bed getting a good nights rest for my day of full responsibility for the class tomorrow. Unfortunately, my brain has forgotten how to shut down at night and these days I go to bed knackered then can't sleep for a couple of hours with the result that... I wake up knackered. Oh joy!
Anyway, I decided that rather than lie there getting more and more agitated I'd get up and see what's happening.
the latest news on mother and baby is that they both got home today. I can hardly beleive how well the baby has done to get out already, especially considering they didn'texpect her to make it through the first night. It's not all good news though - they reckon she is copletely deaf as there was no brain activity showing on the scan when they tested her hearing. Her eyes are fine though and she's doing pretty well considering. She still can't suck properly or swallow so she is being fed through a tube. If that doesn't change soon she'll need an operation so she can be fed straight into her stomach.
Her mum is still being rather chilly with me but I've got other stuff on my mind at the moment so I'm not that bothered. I have continued to text her good wishes but I only ever get a reply when she's after something. Oh well.
I'm a bit nervous about having the kids all day tomorrow but I'm sure I'll be fine (do you think I've just jinxed it?:D ). I'm pretty well prepared so fingers crossed.
Time to go over it all in my head again.Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

Hiya! Glad Mum and baby are home - hope the whole situation settles down for you now.
Natasha failed her hearing test in hospital too, but it turned out to be 'birth gunk' (sorry) in her ear canals. When she was tested again a few weeks later, the readings were normal. They said this was quite common. Hope the same is true for Paris.
Hope she starts feeding properly soon.
I'm sure you will be absolutely fine tomorrow. Hope you manage to get some sleep."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Thanks Snaggles. Just gonna spend some time entering comps until I feel I can sleep. Hope it's soon.Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on
