Great news on mum and baby hun.
Well done on doing your work. Leaving it to the last minute sounds very familiar to me
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I'm having a pants day. I've got zero motivation and just want to hide under my duvet. I've already skipped one class at uni this morning (drama - who can blame me?) and I really don't want to go to the others this afternoon. I'm not even dressed yet and I have to leave in less than 15 minutes. If I could get away with it I wouldn't go at all today but with all the crap I got last term about my attendance I really don't have a choice.
I'd better get a move on and try to make myself less ugly and smelly.Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

Its been a few days since I last posted so here's a quick update about mum and baby. Both doing well, baby now off sedatives but still can't suck or swallow. Mum is totally exhausted and collapsed the other night so they are trying to make her take more rest. I haven't seen either of them since last Monday as mum threw a hissy fit ant my BF, telling him that he is selfish and never does anything for her (he bought the pram and various other baby stuff, we've been looking after her son and running her wherever she wanted to go for the entire pregnancy) and I knew that if I wnet near her it would have resulted in a huge argument.
I realise that she is having a hellish time but she needs to realise that other people are afftected to and that other things are happening outwith the hospital. BF was absolutely gutted and has totally withdrawn into himself since she said all that, even though he has done nothing wrong. He tried calling her and texted her several times to apologise (nothing to say sorr for but trying to keep the peace) and she eventually sent back a text saying not to bother and not to visit her.
You can probably tell I'm less than impressed with all this. Maybe if it was just because of everyhting that has happened that she was behaving like this but it isn't at all out of character. She regularly uses my BF as her verbal punch bag and he always takes it. It hurts me to see him upset and I must put him first.
Throughout all of this I have continued to pick up her son from school and take him and his gran in to see her so I'm not all bad.:o
Ok, so much for the quick update! Rant over.
Now for the money situation. Pants!!!! Spent way more than I was meant to this week but at least I haven't increased my debt.
The next three weeks should be a bit easier as I'm out on placement in a village in the middle of nowhere so I'll be taking lunch with me every day and wont be near any shops.Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

   BFs sister makes me so angry. He went to see her in hospital today and has just called me. He sounds so low. She totally ripped into him but, being a decent and considerate person, he just took it. He figures there is no point saying anything while she is still in hospital. Problem is that once it's all died down he isn't likely to say anything to her then either then, true to form, things wont be going her way at some point and she'll take it out on him again.
She is obviously in the huff with me too as I've sen her a few texts over the last couple of days and had no reply. Grrrrrr!Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

Ignoring your texts but letting you look after her son? Mmmm
Could you not send her a text explaining how upset your boyfriend is?0 -
I could try that but she's so self centred that she'll refuse to see that she has done anything wrong. Over the last week she has also banned her mum from the hospital because they had an argument.
I'm afraid I'm getting to the stage that I'll have to tell her exactly what I think - that she needs to stop acting like a stroppy 6 year old and have a think about the help she has been getting from everyone and about what she has been giving out in return.
Now I'm starting to think that I'm being selfish by not giving her any sympathy. Oh great, I really need the guilt trip inflicted by my own warped mind.
