We had a great day, thanks. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and we got to see them feeding the sharks and fish and also got to touch a live rat snake. I really like all the snakes and lizards and things.

I'm about to head into hospital to see mum and Paris. Her son was supposed to be coming with me but he says he's feeling sick. Only came on as we asked him to eat his dinner so I can't say I'm convinced but I'm not taking the chance. He will stay here with my BF and I'll head in alone.

I'll update you all later as to how they are.

Congratulations on your new Stalwart status :T

I'm glad you had a nice day, even though it was expensive. It would've been much worse spending all that money if you hadnt enjoyed it ehh ;)

I hope mum and baby are still doing well

Went in to see mum and baby last night. In the end her son came as well as we decided he was only saying he was sick as he didn't want to eat his dinner.

Mum was looking fantastic - make up on, hair done, waddling about (she's got seriously swollen legs so can't walk properly). Baby only had feeding tube and a couple of monitors on her. She's opening her eyes and being held by her mum now.

I've just heard that on Tuesday baby will be taken out of the incubator and moved to a cot in her mum's room. It's incredible the difference in both of them in just under a week.

Off to do some homework for uni now. I've had three weeks to get it done and have to go back tomorrow. Talk about last minute. Sound familiar to anyone?

My uni homework isn't going well. I know exactly what I need to do but really can't be bothered. Trying to write up a maths lesson for an imaginary class  .

I've joined the Pap/Moozies challenge this week and set myself a budget of £50 to include getting to and from uni and anything else. Got off to a bad start when I went for petrol (I need the car for the next 4 weeks and wont buy my new bus pass until after that) so I filled the tank. It cost over £45. So I've got less than a fiver to get me through until the weekend. I'll give it my best shot but I'm not overly optimistic.:o

Hi Mupeteer, glad to hear Mum and baby are continuing to improve, you must be so relieved. Why don't you challenge yourself to do half an hour of uni work, then 15 minutes break (come on here and post an update :p), and then keep doing the same until it's done? It might seem less of a chore if you break it down into manageable chunks?

I've finally finished the work I need to do for tomorrow. I just ploughed on through, flicking across to this site every 10 minutes or so to enter a competition. I NEED A HOLIDAY!!!!
