Things really are much better. BF talking mince as usual  - he didn't get in because he wasn't feeling well. Mother and baby are much better. Big brother got to touch baby today. Mum finally expressed some breast milk so baby will have been fed for first time.

They thought mum was still having problems passing urine but it turns out it was just the hospital being crap as usual - there was a kink in the tube leading from the catheter. Since that's been sorted there has been no stopping her!;)

It's so good that everything is heading in the right direction. I really wish I had been able to knit the shawl I had promised now. Anyone know where I can get one that wont cost too much?

Anyway, I'm off to bed now. I hope to get in to see them both tomorrow and I'll update you all afterwards. If power of thought has anything to do with things getting better I can't thank you all enough.

    Mupeteer.

I am so pleased that things are looking better, as for the shawl, I'm not sure, but loads of places have sales on so I'm sure you'll find something wonderful for them.

    Take care x

    Thanks everyone.

I was going to go to see them tonight but mum is going for a kidney scan so I'm not going in now. Probably just as well given the weather and road conditions, one fatal crash in the area already.

  • Is the baby going to be totally ok now or they still thinking there might be some brain damage? Is mum bonding now?

Back to my DFW journey for a bit. I've got a couple of mystery shops lined up for tomorrow morning. Not a huge amount of money but it all helps. There seems to be a real shortage of mystery shops in this area at the moment. I hope it improves soon.

I've done my daily clicks on Quidco and Pigsback but I need to get organised and see about clicks on other sites. I've already got the info for them, now I just need to find the motivation.
