I have an old 4.1% saver with a load of scheduled payments plus the Nov boosted saver. Has anyone closed the Nov boosted saver and got the Jan boosted saver while retaining an old 4.1% saver. I can't be faffed with setting up scheduled payments again.
Btw annoyingly, they can't move scheduled payments across. I just let them go unpaid and top up the 4.1% saver before 2pm.... unless I happen to be awake gone midnight that is.0 -

You can have the Jan 5.1% saver alongside one or more 4.1% savers, as long as you don't have / have closed a November 5.1% saver.
You cannot downgrade a 5.1% saver to a 4.1% saver.

I closed my November 5.1% saver and immediately opened a January 5.1% saver immediately.0

Good to see Chase back in the game with this competitive offer, when so many others are scaling back their rates.
Generally the direction of travel for rates is more than likely downwards, although not quite as rapid as the markets predicted earlier in the year.
Chase and its competitors allows me access to favourable rates for funds I cannot commit to 1 to 3 year fixed arrangements ( house purchase monies ).
This forum thread therefore, especially useful in keeping on top of the 'runners and riders' in this space, so plaudits to the eagle eyed contributors maintaining the watching brief - keep it up 👍0 -
What’s the withdrawals like on Chase are they instant or does it have a cut off time0

Just done the same as others. Closed the existing 5.1% to Nov 2024 savings account on the app and the balance was transferred immediately to chase current account. Opened the new 5.1% to Jan 2025 saver in seconds, and transferred the money over from chase current a/c. All done faster than warming the kettle for a cuppa!Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. I asked by message in the app to transfer to the new expiry account but the answer was - anyone who's opened the bonus saver 1 isn't eligible as the offer has been made available for those unable to open the first one.
Then asking if closing an existing one made you eligible for the new one the answer was again no as one of the eligibility criteria is that customers who have already opened a bonus 1 won't be eligible for a bonus 2.
