Evening all.Minimal flying done today - just food prep and washing up and a S&S in the kitchen and Ocado order put away. Went to the chiropodist this morning and had my feet sorted out, which was good. I think I'm moving to Plymouth though as our friend there told us he had a home visit (private not NHS) from a chiropodist and she only charged £21 and apologised that she had had to put it up by a pound!A received the result of the culture of his toe infection and it found no infection. Something must be causing it though and he's now convinced himself it's one of his medications, which I doubt very much. He has also discovered a clash between two of his medications but the potentially problematic one is used for all sorts of conditions and I'm pretty certain it's only a problem if the med is taken systemically, i.e. a tablet, but he is taking it topically as an eye drop. He is angsting about both of these things though so is going to ring the hospital tomorrow.Sorry for those in the tunnel. I'm not in a tunnel exactly but for some reason I feel pretty demotivated to do anything and also, physically, feel a bit meh. We've got some friends coming for a birthday lunch on Sunday so it will be hard work but nevertheless I hope it bucks me up.YL, could you get a second opinion from a different optician?5

ho hum
took mum out for lunch before singing and gave myself a dicky tummy. My personal dietitian has told me to eat protein…not mushrooms in a stilton sauce…but they were good. 3 loperamide later and i am fine.
All today’s line dried washing has been ironed. I’ve got a new job…as a cleaner 😂 our cleaner at work left and i pointed out i could do it while i’m on reduced hours.
At least i’ll be flying…

@Valli sorry you had tummy trouble but at least you enjoyed the cause! Btw, what is your 'very favourite band'?Piggers, a picture of a massive box of cream eggs, just as I'm trying to ween myself off Easter chocs - just one egg left (although today I did buy a box of chocolates which was heavily reduced because the box has Easter bunnies all over it.

Morning all
Managed to drop back off until the alarm went off at 5.30. Busy day again but wanted to say how lovely it is to see you Fayolle xxx
Back later, have fab days all xx6 -
Good morning my lovelies xx
Friyayyyyyy woot woot. I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast, completed Wordle and Connections, and I'm supping my brew.
Been trying to think of a name for tunnel dwelling flyladies....
I'm meeting L on Monday morning and plan to give her the box of stuff for her sister's church's thrift shop which is currently taking up floor space in my LR. I've already brought home another box ready to fill when this one has gone ...when I say 'brought home' I mean it's currently enjoying riding around in Vin because I keep forgetting to bring it in the house 🤣
Waving madly at Fayolle 👋. It's not the same without you .... not that you ever truly escape from me. Mwahaha 👻
Have a good day
Rxx

Morning all. Managed to sort the washing, but not paired the socks yet. It was dusk by the time I got to them and the poor light made it tricky to match them up, oh and I'm too right to fit a higher wattage light bulb in our room! Job for today while it's light. Managed to put up sticks and strings in the polytunnel, for the beans I've put in. Also went to town and bought loads of fruit and veg, and some reduced kievs from iceland. Also found a sheep on it's back! How do they manage to do that? Turned it back over and she went back to eating grass.
Today's jobs. DW times two, or more; sort the coffee table of gibble; water, were and plant out; get the seed potatoes in, if the rain stays off; sort tea as DD3 will be on her way as soon as she finishes work.(for all those worried about her driving for five hours straight after a night shift, it was a sleeping shift so she won't be tired.)
Thanks for the cream eggs, @pigpen , but I'll leave them for others, not really a fan. Hope the wind has dropped for you ASB, not had much here, just rain. Glad your feet are sorted C-o-G. Hope all of you that have "proper" jobs have a good day at them, hugs, sticks and spoons to all those who need them, mumtoomamy.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.6 -
