Today I am grateful for the fine weather meaning we could take the kids to the park at kids klub, for Pip being fine being home alone, for accepting a lunch invite which was much fun and very filling, for caramelised red onion chutney, for working my way through the library books I got out a week ago - I made some excellent choices!!!

Lots of driving today - collected my brother first thing and dropped him off for his chemotherapy at the city hospital, and collected him later and took him home, with a slight diversion to L*dl as he wanted to buy a couple of things. Also delivered some items that I had sold to a friend at her lovely new workshop (she does upholstery and makes fabulous lampshades and cushions - imagine the temptation!). I asked her about reupholstering a nice window seat that I bought for a tenner ages ago, and she has agreed to do it. There will be a bit of a wait, but it is hardly an emergency, and I obviously won't have to pay for it until it is done. After that, we had lunch, and then OH came with me to my brother's flat and helped me clean it up a bit. It was soon time for me to drive back to the hospital, and the traffic wasn't so kind this time. It took me more than 3 hours to drive there and back. Same again on Wednesday as he has to have a scan.Grateful today for seeing my friend's lovely workshop (and all her lovely fabrics), and for OH helping me clean up my brother's flat10

Today I am grateful for bumping into a neighbour for a quick chat, for the honeysuckle growing well and serving as a screen above the fence, for finishing a good book, for doing some revision with Pip this morning, for DH having some extra work.

Still felt a bit down this morning. Walked the long way to the drs with DH, he came home & I had the blood pressure contraption attached, then walked home the long way.
Did a couple of chores, then did the migration application for UC. Loaded the car up with things to take to the dump tomorrow, then did some gardening.
Was feeling more cheerful, then noticed my 2 work besties had both driven near me & gone for a walk without inviting me, so I was back at square 1 again. Think things have been getting on top of me, still no word of my auntie's funeral & have to see what the results of this BP tracker will be.
Sat hand stitching paw pads on memory bears after tea.
Grateful for wild primroses in flower, pottering in the garden, listening to the country show on R2Use it up, wear it out

Losing track of days here. Wfh yesterday, my ankle was pretty sore but I waddled to the shop which is usually a 20 minute walk, made it there and back in just over 30. Small spend, I was craving some crisps for some reason. Got lots done workwise and also managed a few small jobs in the house. Back at work today, luckily trains are running on schedule as I'm getting cabin fever at home!10

Hmm my student money (for visiting french students) paid directly into ISA - again, not the best option when I need that money for spending money, but a great reminder of the power of saving. So will leave money there for now.
