Hi everyone
Good week here. I am finding the nutra check app massively helpful in forward planning. I am logging absolutely everything which is also serving as a good dose of realism for me.I also planned my three days away with work - which often trips me up as staying in hotels etc. stuck to the plan and felt better for it.Notable reduction in costs for me in not spending on rubbish food to entertain myself this week.3lbs off this week. I think everyone is doing brilliantly. I have a lot to lose (over 100lb) but I know the only way to achieve that is to be consistent and sticking with it whatever the scales say. I’m still in the early days of my body being shocked by this 😁 but I will quickly revert to small losses and that’s where I’ve always given up as it seems so little in comparison to what I need to lose. I know this is something to be worked through but I feel ready for it.L x5 -
Weekly weigh in: lost another 1.5lbs. Happy with this after a tough week and I have lost 4.5lbs so far 😊
Feel like it is a fresh start on a new week again. I start afresh now 😊

@Less_Talk_and_More_Action, I hear you on the challenge of persisting and continuing through the small losses. I think it might be because we don’t ’feel the win’ with the small losses? That’s why I am tracking the total of how much I have lost so far so I am aware of OVERALL progress made. That has made me feel better this morning and actually, is not something I have ever done before …. 😊

Completely agree @KajiKita. Not something I have paid much attention to before but it gets you through the tough times. I am easily de-motivated because of the large amount of weight I have to lose but I’m not going to get there by losing 10lbs a week so I need to come to terms with enjoying the process as well as wanting the final outcome. At the moment I’m in the phase of putting all the tools together and I feel really positive about that because they will help me when I hit the bad weeks. Overall progress is all that counts in the end and life has to happen in the middle of it all.L x6

Well done both of you!
I find the tape measure changes more motivating than the number on the scales - the smaller walking trousers are now looser on my waist even though the scales are not being kind.
lots of garden effort planned for today as long as the ankle holds up.I did download the nutracheck App but haven't actually used it. Must try that next.I am particularly impressed that you managed to stick to the plan with the work travel @less_@Less_Talk_and_More_Action - I always ended up reading a book with a bed picnic of junk.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Everyone is doing brilliantly. My scales are still not moving more than a few points of a pound up and down, despite being in a calorie deficit. I did a lot more steps overall last week, although mostly at the weekend. I’m planning to keep that up and hopefully the scales will get with the program very soon. I’m still a stone below my highest weight and I count that as a win that I managed not to put it all on again, but definitely have a way to go this time. Ideally another stone and a half needs to come off. This group is very inspiring ✨Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
