Thanks @CRANKY40 That's lovely of you to give away the food. That's interesting about the stimming. I'm not autistic, but I do chew pens! It stops people nicking them
I find that much of my compulsion to snack happens when I need to focus and concentrate, and the chewing helps me do that. Maybe I should try chewing gum.
Thanks @redofromstart. There seem to be a lot of us who snack a lot!
Well done @elly68

Not been a good day food wise. Had many cravings some of which I have succumbed to. Not judging myself - just observing. This is typical of me - lose well in the first week and then slip into ‘sloppy’ habits almost immediately. Exercise has been pretty good though and tomorrow is a fresh sheet 😊 🤷♀️ I think some of it is ongoing reaction to work, domestic stuff etc.

Good morning,
How are things going? I've had an unintentionally busy week and I'm totally overpeopled. I've managed to eat more fruit than usual which I've enjoyed and mostly I've eaten the meals that I've intended to. I didn't yesterday because I took my dad's cousin out for the day and she wanted an unhealthy lunch at a place where there wasn't anything even close to a vegetable on the menu. She enjoyed her day out though so all good.
I've managed some gardening at bf's house but none at my own. I'm staying home at the weekend though so if it ever stops raining I may get some of my own done. I haven't "overshopped" but I did buy a gammon joint from Lidl yesterday while I was out with my cousin. I cooked one last week and froze it in slices to go with pasta and sauce. The frozen slices are going down more quickly than I thought they would because the gammon is so tasty.
We've booked a holiday for about 4 weeks time. I need to try on all my swimsuits now because I was about 3 stone heavier last time I wore any of them. It's also a good incentive not to overspend on food as any money left over from the grocery budget can go into the holiday spends pot.
Take care all of you 😊4 -

Great news about the holiday!
I've not done well with food this week, as I've had two days where I've pretty much hoovered food all day. Today has been good though. I realised that the two days I couldn't stop eating, were days where I ate breakfast around 2 hrs earlier than my normal TRE. I think that perhaps made a big difference. Today I was back to normal and haven't felt like eating loads at all. I definitely need a good breakfast to keep me on track.
I've walked each day though so that's been a good result."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Even a difficult week for me. Been horribly busy and tired - hard not to eat, n eat, n eat …. 🤷♀️😉
Oh well, we will see what the results are tomorrow morning … 🤞

I've done really well for exercise, perhaps my highest weekly steps of the year which means the ankle of doom is throbbing but not slipping out of joint hurrah. Doing my physio exercises regularly helping with strength and stability but not the throbbing.Food wise a bit more mixed. A few snacking rather than meals days and not enough Veg all round. Not much fruit either - bananas and dried fruit mostly. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
