Not hit the sales yet but I have one basket left plus a stack of bath smellies from Avon when they were flogging 5 for a fiver. I have a ton of wrapping paper bought last year as well as some gift bags (a Lidl special pack).

I have been sizing up all my christmas cards to see what can be recycled into other cards and what can be used as gift tags (even my gift tags have been recycled!).:D

I hope to hit the sales either tomorrow afternoon or at least at the weekend.

Argos had great pink gym sets with fm radio, water bottle, nicrofibre towels reduced from £19.99 to £4.99. Actually bought myself one as it is ideal size for trip to Gym

Same here - I have saved what paper escaped the boys - the good stuff will be used to make cards and tags (along with the saved gift tags and old cards), and the scrappier bits will be shredded for basket packing.

  • I intend to use the stuff i get in sales (started yesterday with lakeland online) to do birthday baskets and once they are finished i will use summer sales and bogof etc offers the rest of the year for christmas.

the magazine subscriptions i sent this year using tescos clubcard vouchers seemed to go down well so i will continue to save points for next year :)

I used to just recycle cards for gift tags but then started making my own cards so apart from special ones from family that I like to keep I recycle the rest in cards as well.
Haven't bought anything towards next year but made a list in my head.........just need to get it down on paper.
Got birthdays coming up March and April as well plus I've started de-cluttering........................
