Hi Everybody I have picked up afew christmas pressies in argos sale. And sainsburys have reduced stocking fillers down to 25p so picked some of those up. Havent seen any bargin prices for wrapping paper yet though and thats the part I hate wrapping so going to do it as I go this year. Bought a cheap easter egg last year wrapped it in pink crepe paper, placed it in a basket, decorated a box also with crepe paper, and cut out front and places basket in it, bought a my little pony mag and gave that to my daughter as she wanted a my little pony easter egg. also did the same for my son but did a dr who one for him.♥♥♥Life is too short to wake up with regrets ♥ So love the people who treat you right. ♥ Forget about the one’s who don’t ♥ Believe everything happens for a reason ♥ If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands ♥ If it changes your life, let it ♥ Nobody said life would be easy, they just promise it would be worth it ♥0

I have started aswell.. I have a big chest where I'm keeping all Christmas and bday pressies... don't have that many yet, but getting there.
I don't know how you guys can have done all of your 2008 Christmas shopping!!! I think I have spent too much money in the sales and non sales!!
I want a couple of pairs of boots from ASOS but am waiting for a discount code as am loathed to pay full price.. I think NEWYEAR doesn't work till 28th Jan and I dunno if they will still be there!!!
Also will chocs that you buy now last till next Christmas? Don't they have a BBE date on them?
Don't want to poison the kiddies!!!

With the delivery that has arrived this morning, I've now finished all but two of this years birthdays, and about a third done Christmas (all adults in hand, but holding back on the kids a bit)
We've got so many other things going on this year, it's nice to know I haven't got to really think about presents etc.
BBelle - I'm not sure that you'll find many chocolates now that will get to next christmas, but you could deal with a few birthdays that way.
Most sweets etc that I've bought in Christmas sales in the past have been dated to about September - I can confirm this is true of most Lakeland edibles in the current sale, although I haven't bought from anywhere else this year so don't know more than that.
They will all have BB dates though, so unless you're mail-ordering, you just need to check the box instore.

Hi everyone, if there's anyone still watching this thread? Got a brilliant bargain today, a cream distressed wooden magazine rack thingy from TK Maxx for €2.99. It was so cheap, I couldn't resist. Want to use it as part of a pressie, but don't want to be obvious and put just magazines in, any ideas????Credit card €7892.36/€ 0
Catalogues €767.52/€ 0
hospital costs €550
wtshtf fund 0/ €2000

kbl, how about using it as a "basket"? If you were to put together a Pamper Pack, you could include a beauty mag, a Baby Basket you could put in a baby mag, etc. So long as there's a theme there's bound to be a magazine that caters to it! And if you go via Quidco there's always a magazine offer to suit. You could even put a pack of popcorn in, along with a subscription for the Radio Times over Christmas!
Hope that helps
