Good morning my lovelies xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and I'm supping my brew. I'm wearing my watch and ear rings - had to re-pierce the back of my left lobe to do so 🥴. Shades of me reappearing from the murky mist? Years since I wore either.
piggers - you are very astute. I did refuse to be a doormat. I informed my supervisor that my colleague was working v-e-r-y slowly and I wasn't going to pick up the slack as I was busy myself. Fast forward....and supervisor worked her butt off to pick up the slack. If any of the rest of us were at fault she'd be on us like a ton of bricks. But the chosen one (who also causes all the trouble on Poison Alley!) does as she likes. And none of us can work out why. I've even asked if blackmail is unsolved? Anyhoo...I'm taking the line of least resistance: don't expect me to carry her and we'll be fine. (ish). With one eye on: Get this weight off and I'll be more confident = apply for other jobs. Plodding on until I retire is looking less and less tenable. We'll see.
I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off. Dustbin and recycling boxes are at the gate.
Oh drat. Just remembered we have an Admin Team meeting at 8.45 this morning. 'Team' being a complete misnomer 🤔 That'll be fun - half the bods are not speaking to the other half. It'll either be q-word or WW3!
But I'm on Annual Leave tomorrow 🥳🥳🥳Got to use it all up by 31st March. This'll be my last day used up 😊.
Ooops. Sorry. Rambling on. Not like me at all 🤣.
Love to all.

Morning all. I had my first cuppa of the day at 5.00 - physically I could have done with a bit more sleep, but my brain decided otherwise, so I might as well get on with my list of jobs for the day. Part of what woke me up so early was remembering that yesterday evening I had put my new-to-me walking boots (inherited from DG12 ) in the WM. I put them by the radiator when I let Rosie out whilst waiting for the kettle to boil - multitasking!
Today my list includes:
- plan meals up to Easter Monday using as far as possible only food from stock (all this week we have been eating up last weekend's roast and my friend A's kind gifts of stew and curry, so we still have plenty of pre-cooked meals in the freezer) and write a shopping list to see us through to the end of the month
- get DH to take me to MrAl when he goes to the nearby chiropodist at 11.00 (I'm not going to start driving again until next week, after the original date of my review with the consultant)
- on the way home, collect my meds from the pharmacy and take A's food container back to her
- do some financial juggling before the end of the tax year
- send some emails and cards; make some phonecalls
- finish filing
- use a credit note from a previous cancellation to book a meal out
- use a Christmas gift voucher to book seats for a concert
- do the dailies: S&S kitchen and bathroom, PUPA in LR, DR and bedrooms
- hoover all through (Rosie has started her spring moult)
- walk Rosie
- J the gardener is coming at 2.00 and will need to be paid
- put mealworms (also a Christmas present) out for the birds. I need to find a way to exclude the pigeons, which I regard as flying rats
- listen in at 4.00 on DH's phonecall with the dietician (he is happy for me to do this, since I'm the head chef )
- check out the possibility of switching my energy provider for cheaper rates.
Let's see how much of this I can do before breakfast!
Hope everyone has a good day, with minimum stress/pain/hayfever etc xxx9 -

morning all
just finishing my vertical half hour. Don’t know if i said, but my dosage of the tablet which upsets my stomach has been reduced and i’m not suffering from upset stomachs at all…I even ate an orange yesterday…previously an almost instant trigger…nothing. No stomach pains…it’s brilliant. I hope this keeps up because i have another 14 months to do on them.
I have washed the cat blanket that she uses and was grim tbh as the forecast has improved. I’ve also washed the throw from the LR
Need to catch up with some admin this morning. Hopefully the Vallimobile will be fixed by lunchtime and i am mulling over walking to pick it up. It’s about 2 miles.

@roundtuit hope your meeting went well. Whatever happens today, it will soon be over and then you have 3 days off and more coming up with Easter on the horizon. Perhaps I should send you my (mythical) Liberty scarf to go with your earrings.@Valli great news on your side effects - that must be a real relief.@ionafan I needed a lie down after reading your list lol. After getting up and ready I gave A his eye drops then went out for a walk and bought the paper on the way back. It's quite mild and was reasonably sunny but has clouded over now. I came back washed up A's breakfast pots and have given A the second lot of eye drops. A wants an early lunch today because of his hospital eye appointment later.8

I have collected my car. I walked for 46 minutes - I fired up my Active 10 app before going so I'm really pleased about that.
Blankets out on line. Some ironing brought upstairs
