All go here. Having my new kitchen fitted next weekend so am shuffling stuff to shed or under DD bed etc and then using utility room as kitchen while it's done. We taking as much of old one out as can and building some of units ready as my step dad fitting it is only here 3 days and I need him to tile.
Hugs to all that need them and hopefully I can join in a bit more after next week when I'm straight again....no one can find anything 😂6 -

@roundtuit I love the term 'chubbage'. I've a bit of my own that crept on last winter/spring and has stayed put since then and I should like to declutter it. Anyway, I'm giving you your first cheer for more weight loss and sorting out your house. This morning I went to the 8.30 and called in at a bakery on the way back (not the usual one) and bought a couple of things. When I got back I did some indoor gardening, put the towels on to wash and put out fresh ones , put together the laundry for collection later and tidied and dusted another shelf on the bookcase in the RoD. I then made a coffee for us both and we shared a pain au chocolat. I normally eat and drink nothing but water between supper one day and lunch the next so I mustn't get into the habit of having something mid morning.I received a text from my brother saying he had an accident yesterday and injured his hand and spent several hours in A&E. I will ring him in a moment and see how he is. Have a good day everyone.5

i’ve had a very busy day
hutch -
cleaned out, tipped up, understory swept, left to air dry then put back together (just now that last bit)
pegged out 3 washloads…first went out about 6:45
emptied 2nd compost bin into first to turn compost. Admired 4 000 000 worms (approx). This involved filling buckets with half rotted compost and carrying them to other bin. Moved now-empty compost bin next to other one.
Dismantled rabbit run. We don’t shut the rabbits in it and it is rickety. though goodness knows how i’ll get the under stairs cupboard doors sanded now…probably have to use patio table.
Removed layer of hairy bittercress from a plant pot baby currant bush). top dressed pot.
Went to aged ps to drop off tablets
Went shoppoing with dd. now making us a roast dinner with Pigs 🐷 in blankets which were ys. will freeze some. DD adores them.
Pudding will betrifle because i had a lot of left over custard, happen to have XXL sponge fingers in the cupboard, also a pack of jelly - ood.

I rang my brother and it turns out he was doing a temporary repair to the roof of his bird house, using a staple gun, and managed to fire a staple into his hand. Anyway, they were able to remove it at the hospital and it doesn't seem to have caused any permanent damage. They gave him antibiotics and a tetanus injection so hopefully all will be well.@roundtuit he said that they went to Brigg market yesterday morning (before the accident of course) so I thought of you.Made lunch and washed up, did two lots of TDing and have just made A a cup of tea.7

Hi all
Busy day, worked out finances and budgets, gave the kitchen a good clean, helped DH in the garden, spoke to DS1 and went for a little walk.
Made a rhubarb crumble from the first crop of the season, which was lovely. DH also made leek and potato soup from our own leeks.
Nice weekend but I don't want it to be Monday tomorrow. Sigh.
See you all on the new thread x5 -
@CoG you would be most welcome. It was lovely but i must have eaten too much… i’ve had to take loperamide ☹️
