Hi everyone
Another one of those days where I awoke at 5am, and cannot believe 8 hours have passed since then!
I am on my lunch break, having a much deserved cuppa and kitkat. It is bright and windy here, I haven't dared peg out though, we are so high up the wind is likely to send my dog bedding flying down the dale!
Big hugs to all xx8 -

And I'm dressed, completed Wordle, got 2/4 on Connections*, fed the birds, unboxed cans of pop in the fridge, put out the recycling, eaten breakfast, set WM swishing with towels and tea towels, and put the rest of the scrapped roofing felt in the bin ...that was heavier than it looked 💪. Fer-ling
* the 'connections' on the two failed lines didn't look connected to me even when the answers were revealed, so I'd no chance 🤣.
WUDUPA and coffee next. Maybe not in that order 😉

@roundtuit glad the meeting went well. Often the things we worry about most are the things which turn out to be least troublesome. Well done on making progress on the worktop too.@pigpen good idea for your husband to keep his options open. If the gardening takes off (as I imagine it will) he can concentrate on that but whilst he's building it up he has something else. This morning I wrote a card for our elderly friend in Plymouth and went out and posted it. A wanted to have his hair cut so I drove him to the barber's and waited. As I had a Waitrose delivery coming between 12.00 and 13.00 we came straight back as they sometimes come up to 45 minutes early so I wanted to be back in good time. Needless to say, as I was back in good time they didn't come early.I made lunch and then did a load of washing and par-TD'd it and put it on the rack to finish off. I've now got a second load on. I also did some vacc'ing and tidied up the sitting room. I wrapped a birthday present for a friend who lives nearby and is coming over later to collect it, and the card. In 15 mins it will be time to make tea/coffee and the last hot cross bun for A.8

I had an Easter card to post so I had a wander to the post box, then carried on and called to see DB. Dropped off the Christmas cake decorations for DSil - currently sunning herself in Cyprus. Had a coffee and a catch up with DB, then wandered back, pausing to examine the Little Library which has been set up in the telephone kiosk at the crossroads. Resisted the urge to bring a book home as I still have 23 books in my TBR pile....not including the book I'm reading at the moment.
Brought in, FUPA towels and tea towels.

Thanks cog, the wheelbarrow only just fit in the car... must have kept the neighbours entertained 😂
Been food shopping today and also picked up some cleaning bits and bobs and another duvet set for my bed.

WUPA the tea things and had a S&S in the kitchen. Finished the TDing, matched and put away the socks and a few other things. Made supper and washed up. Set up A's breakfast things and 2/3 night time eye meds - the last one will be done soon. That's it for another day; sleep well everyone.

Good morning my lovelies xx
Awake at 6.10 am. I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, sorted washing into loads, first load is swishing, completed Wordle and Connections, and I'm supping my brew.
Have a good day
