Good morning everyone xx
👋 waves to newbies.
Yesterday at the paid stuff was not the best. But I did appreciate having a reason to get up and on, and seeing some of my colleagues 😉. I do love my actual job - if they would just leave me alone to get on with it. Calling the building Toxic Towers, and our corridor, Poison Alley, seems to have caught on. Me? Ermmmm. Might be? If the cap fits and all that....Pay Day next week.
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and I'm supping my brew. Ahhh. Groundhog Day 😍. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off.
Thinking about you YL xx My anxiety manifested as bolshie yesterday. Must find and replace my filters before I open my mouth today 🙊
Have a good day.
Rxx

*hides Rounds filters* .. sometimes the words need to be said and can be done so in a calm and polite manner.. it does not say WELCOME across your back indicating you are not a doormat.. as we say to little humans.. 'use your words'
For the marzipan lovers.. I have battenberg for breakfast.. nom.. let's see HOW allergic I am to almonds.. after my 3 anti-histamines.. my mouth feels 'buzzy' .. hmm... culd also be the egg ot the wheat or the milk.. meh... there is a pharmacy at the end of the street if I need an epipen lol.Spent 2 hours cleaning my sisters kitchen yesterday.. I gutted and bleached and scrubbed the fridge, sink (plug was nasty) draining board, second sink and one side of her worksurfaces.. including chopping board kettle etc.. she has been unhappy since escaping a very abusive relationship so has nelgected her usually very lovely home.. She didn't get mad so I hope she is pleased and can make a new start. I am hoping we can go help clear her pantry in the next few days and hopefully give her a step on the road to booting that BD out.2x WM swishingI found the shorts which are part of a 2 pc set so I can V!nted those. I just put an offer in for 2 pairs of shoes for Twinkle.

hmm.. School want to move Squeak to a different class in one lesson because other children are being knobs... maybe address their behaviour rather than move the 'victim'???
2nd new very deep litter tray arrived.. I am going to shuffle shhhhhhhhhhh... those... later.
Marzipan has effects on the mouth.. and the intestines.. and my face is itching again..
erm... I need to do a laundry shuffle.. I am running a day behind on my knitting.. so I want to finish that but I have Pixie at swimming tonight so will take it with me.. and I need to find a nice aran pattern to start next.
V!nted the rest of the school bits.. I found some more to go too..
Hotdogs and pasta for dinner, as it is swimming.. might poison a few with scrabbled or fried eggs as well.. get some protein in them.. they might even get a vegetable!

Battenburg for breakfast. Sorry it had such a bad effect though. After getting washed and dressed and doing eye drops I helped A with an email to the managing agent who were asking for money for something we don't have to pay. Went to Waitrose - drove part of the way and walked the last bit for exercise but didn't have the time to walk the whole way and back. Got back and made an appointment with the podiatrist as my feet are hurting from callouses. Made lunch, washed up, S&S in the bathroom, S&S in the kitchen, washed my flannel. More eye drops (we should be up to 4 lots by now ).Had a reply from the Managing Agent, which included a statement of account and it appears that we are nearly £1000 in credit on the service charge because they over-budgeted in 2022! I had been meaning to ask what had happened to that money but never got around to it - now I know. They should have deducted it from a previous service charge but the next quarter's is due next week so we can ensure that they deduct it from that.About to make tea and hot cross bun for A and coffee and simnel cake for me.7

Washed up the tea things, watched a bit of TV, made supper, washed up and then rang our elderly friend in Plymouth. The hospital rang earlier and asked if A could go for an appointment tomorrow to replace the one from 3 weeks ago which was cancelled at the last minute. As we had nothing planned for tomorrow he said yes.8

Bathroom sink scrubbed with toothbrush- weirdly satisfying, Bathroom wiped down, floor cleaned and toilet cleaner in place while waiting for my bath to run. Did a 10 minute stint in the living room and cleared a load of kids paperwork. Going to kick back and relax now.
