1 ranty email sent to Dots school.. they thought they were giving her a detention for being disruptive.. her 1-2-1 told her she was not going to be in for 2 lessons today and she didn't know who was standing in and then said she is off wednesday too so Dot was really struggling with change and was then a pest in class.. it is not her fault they didnt take her out of class when she was dysregulated (autistic/ADHD for those who don't know) .. I bet she was being gross with snot.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
Thank you, Natty, for the lists. Thank you, Round, for your generous flinging of the weight. I managed to duck 2lb, but 1lb landed on me fair and square. Well done to you, though x
Long day at the paid stuff, not least because the director, whose sole purpose in life is to make my life difficult, is back from his holidays. Still no work day tomorrow, so there!
Wm put on before going to work, and it looks like DH got it all dry outside. Yoga session done when I got home - I didn’t really want to, but glad I did now. Dinner rustled up this evening, WUDUPA, kitchen floor swept. Now to finish off my library book. The next one is lined up ready.
My mothers’ day card still hasn’t arrived in the post - DD is not a happy bunny about that.

@roundtuit Well done on the weight loss - that is incredibly good. Hope you're feeling more positive now.I woke up at 07.50 and got up briefly but went back to bed as I was still tired after being non-stop all weekend. The next thing I knew it was 10.25.
Oh well, I obviously needed the sleep and I certainly didn't feel guilty.
Minimal flying done today, partly because I felt like having an easier time today and partly because having got everything spick an span in anticipation of our visitors there wasn't much that I needed to do (although, of course, there was plenty that I could have done). I went to the shops, which also doubled as my walk (about 3 miles). When I got back I made lunch and washed up then had a lazy afternoon, made tea and washed up. A friend called round to collect some of the simnel cake and left over trifle. Another bit of lazy time and then I made supper, did an online grocery shop and now it's time to wash up again. Soon it will be time to start the night time eye routine and then time for bed.6 -
washing dried beautifully on the line.
DD sold her car to a dealership on the 2nd and was told the money would be in her account within 10 days. Nope. On Friday i called them on her behalf (she can't take calls at work); when they called back they promised they'd pay straight away. Nope. DD called on Saturday - they told her Monday (today) ... still nothing so she texted me, I called again and when I got the bloke he apologised and said 4-5 days. I said this wasn't good enough, I asked about formally complaining - sent a very terse email informing them I expected her to be paid within 24 hours and lo and behold she's been paid! You don't mess with my babies...
She herself has put a complaint in to a dentist re failed treatment...'lining up' her teeth...she is to be refunded the cost of treatment. pigpen said:.. hayfever horrific.. I need something else to combat this.. the eye drops hurt my eye balls but they are so dry and itchy and sticky and scratchy.
- Will report first that Mr N has done a huge amount of flying as the bible group are meeting at our house tomorrow. Lounge/diner and hall are ready for them.
- I've done some washing up, tidied the kitchen and made a pizza base plus chopped the filling up so Mr N could assemble it while I was at zumba this evening.
- another report nearly finished, got a couple of paragraphs to go and I can check/send it off tomorrow.
Ionafan I hope your eye improves.
Tomorrow: make cakes, finish cleaning kitchen, finish report and start another, get paperwork ready for Wednesday's assessment. Make any final plans for London trip.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8
