I made pizza bases yesterday by hand but I did use my breadmaker recipe which includes yeast. If you have a look at this thread it should give you some ideas: Can I make pizza without yeast I hope the kids enjoy tomorrow.

Hi all, i hope you can help me. I have 3 packets of mozzarella in the fridge and was thinking of makin gpizzas with the kids tommorow, only problem being, i havent a clue how to make it lol. Also, if you have any other ideas for using the mozarella they would be gratefully recieved. Thanks in advance xxx

Mozarella freezes fine, so you could save some for another time, if you don't want to go pizza crazy!

Ive noticed when ive eaten a homemade pizza base that the base gets a bit crispy, is this due to me putting some chorizo on it and the fat from the chorizo runs into the base or is it the amount of cheese i use

You could try cooking it for a few minutes less or putting more yeast in your dough.

ill try cooking it for slightly less, we used the bread mixes for our bases so we didnt add any yeast, so today im going to try a recipe i saw jamie olver do on his tv show, ill try putting slightly less chorizo and cheese on the top
  • I use my normal bread recipe for pizza bases, bake them then pop them in the freezer and ready for when I need them.

Try drizzling olive oil around the edge of your base.Goes a light brown colour and stays moist.

Best pizzas I've had are those with thin crispy bases. Its all a matter of taste but the thick doughy bases are not for me.
