  • Birthday parties and passports sound like positive spends aligned with your values. This is a good prioritisation of your cash.

I too sometimes forget that paying the minimum is actually good enough.
    Thanks for checking in.

I’ve aggressively been paying debt and spending no money on myself for a nearly year. It’s ok if this month I pay just the minimum and see where we go for April.

If you’ve been reading from the start, I owned my gambling on Mother’s Day which is coming up.

Really want this to be a positive day and one that  draws a line under the 2024 mess.

You're doing really well - facing up to difficult feelings and getting through it shows your strength of character.

100% agree with the others on here but I know how hard it is to not feel awful when at least some of the reason you are in the position you are is due to addiction that was hard enough to face up to in the first place.

Keep on the path mate and well done so far. That little family of yours needs you and wants you in their lives.

Just catching up on a Saturday morning, as I often do.

I realised something that you may not have taken into account. You've made huge progress with your debt, but you are still putting a lot of pressure on yourself because it isn't all gone already. I get that, it's just human. The thing I want you to think about, is that if you hadn't made a change nearly a year ago, right now you would be in about (looks at your signature) £33k of debt. Your balances were about £20k and you would have added £13k. Instead you are at about £11k. Celebrate that!
Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)
