Well not for me on android, maybe you using iOS ?LeesArt said:
I am sorry but it is MASSIVELY different, just go read all the reviews on App Store, I am going to redact some images and upload them, it is truly awful.jameseonline said:Not being funny but the Letter/company logo thing on transactions list has been a thing for a while now, even before the new refreshed app, so not sure when you last used the app tbh.
As already mentioned there's already a thread on the new look app which isn't that much different to previous version other than home screen.0 -
Erm I'm a little confused by what you mean.LeesArt said:
It is not an MSE thread and like everybody on here I am entitled to share my experiences in my own thread, not better to keep adding to an existing thread only to be told "why did you reactivate an old thread" better to keep the issue alive and make the time I have invested more likely to be seen.Zanderman said:There's an existing thread about the new app on the forum, maybe better to post there than starting a new one.
It's here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6512527/hating-the-look-of-the-nationwide-banking-app
People write about Sky, BT, Octopus and 100 other companies every day about the same issues, I don't see them being told maybe they would be better off posting to a thread that is already going off at tangents to become off topic.
Not an MSE thread?, sorry but there is already a thread/topic in the same forum category.
Re activate an old thread?, the thread is only a few days old & myself and others recently contributed to it so I doubt anyone would have told you off for adding your own experiences to it.
🤔🙄😒🤨
I don't think any harm/offence was intended by the suggestion it might be better adding to the existing thread.
Sometimes it's better to do a quick search/browse to see if there's an existing thread you can add to before starting your own.
If there's several forum threads on same thing the forum can become very messy very quickly.
I'm fairly new to MSE forum but I've got experience with forums, it's just good practice to have a little look around 1st.

I'm currently waiting for a response from their Final Response team after being caught out with one of their App errors

I think the app is fine - admittedly it is not as comprehensive as some but it certainly does all the things I want.
No problems with the new look although I agree the front page has lots of space and could be a bit more succinct
you can probably avoid upgrading if you want to for a little while but eventually back-level apps tend to stop working or be automatically updated1 -
Ahh I think someone did a merge already seen most of these posts 🤣2

I wasn't one that asked/complained etc for anything to be moved, I and at least one other person stated there was already a recent topic on the nationwide app. 🙄

For those bothered by the waste of a home screen Nationwide released a new update for Android (dunno if it's iOS also)

The new iOS update allows you to use narrower tiles and dispense with the account type headers.I’ve found just getting rid of the headers by itself allows all my 4 std. sized account tiles to be displayed on screen.A good update for viewing, I think.Digital Payback

How did you manage to make the adjustments to the screen display?Digital_Payback said:The new iOS update allows you to use narrower tiles and dispense with the account type headers.I’ve found just getting rid of the headers by itself allows all my 4 std. sized account tiles to be displayed on screen.A good update for viewing, I think.0
