Superb news that Rick is improving daily!

I too would like to give blood, but unfortunately I can't as I am a type 2 diabetic controlled with tablets and I was told by the nurses when I tried to give that this prevents me from doing so.

To all those of you giving blood - thank you for thinking of others x

Rick's had a very stable night which is great news - we are in the process of arranging for his best friend to visit - if it wasn't for his friend who called the ambulance Rick would not be with us. they have been best friends for most of their lives and are like tweedle dumb and tweedle dee- were hoping that Rick will react to the friend as much as he has done with his dad.
we raised a toast to Rick at midnight and the children were still up - my eldest led a prayer for Rick which was beautiful.
Slept well last night - a bottle of Cava helped.
we're off to the hospital soon but we are very pleased.

i cant believe that auction is £5.50 delighted - almost enough so far to buy a kettle (which they haven't got)

i've actually done my hair today and popped on a bit of make up- hubby and i were just saying that we have come so far now with Rick, we can start looking at the future a bit more.
