Got waylaid by the farmer this morning, who was fixing one of our walls ready to put the cows in 🙈 Had a chat with him, then picked up my newly fixed boots, and availed myself of a free 🐙 tea in town 😊

Took forever to get to our friends and their car boot stall, and then my sister decided she did want to spend the week studying in our house after all 😱 so had to wait for her to turn up to collect the key, because I'd meant to leave it out somewhere in case she changed her mind but then I forgot...

Anyway, friends left to go home, and we stuck around to chat to sister and her husband, so we're still on the move and very ready to get to our destination, not too far now! 

Nice start to the holiday though, and hoping we've not left too many pants lying around in our rush to leave this morning 😱😂

Sister is happily ensconced in our house,  and we are in holyhead - although wishing we'd stayed longer with our friends yesterday as we got here around for and there was really very little to do. We wandered round town a few times, shared a takeaway and watched TV for a bit. 

Woke up to a text saying the ferry may be delayed for up to two hours,  but we need to check in as usual... fingers crossed. 

B&B is nice enough - although we were informed we were not allowed to use the curtains as they were decorative only🙄😂 of course I am a rule follower, but Mr Cheery immediately started playing with them 🙄

Best get up. Breakfast in half an hour and we had to decide everything when we arrived- what we wanted, including tea or coffee and whether we wanted milk or not 😂

Anyway, spent £8.20 on our shared takeaway on the harbour front last night - so much more of a bargain than if we'd been able to find an appropriate restaurant!

That’s like an old fashioned Blackpool b and b, out by ten and not allowed back In til five with tea at six o’clock sharp, hot and cold water advertised as a selling point……

I've been surprised by the number of holiday cottages and hotels that I've looked at recently that advertise toilet paper on their list of facilities 😮😂

It's got too the point where I'm now checking and being suspicious if it's not there! 🙄😂

We have made it to the ferry 😃 still delayed by half an hour apparently. Mr Cheery has curled up to go to sleep,  I'm going to do some plotting and scheming. I was going to read my book but it's in the bag he's lying his head on... 🙄

Oh dear Cheery - the perils of reading a "real" book! - Most of mine now reside in the 'cloud' as the tomes I like to read are too heavy to take on the daily commute! 😂
