Funnily enough, I was going to take 1k out of my PB bonds to pay off the balance of my tooth implants. You get the option of taking the money straightaway or leaving the money in until the next draw. I opted to withdraw the money straightaway but, as it was so near the draw, I wasn’t able to do this until after the draw. Glad I didn’t as I won £100 today, maybe on those bonds? I also received the £1000 so that will pay off my teeth (0% credit card I was using was coming to the end of the 0% deal). I opted to pay for my teeth on the cc as I figured the money was better in my account. I also won £50 on PB three months ago, so you never know…..the million pounds could be winging its way to us. Me first though!!!!9

Not much to report today. Busy work day, but I managed to remain calm and just grind through everything without too much hassle or distraction. Roll on the end of next week though - two big deadlines and I am looking forward to having a week of catching up on all the little things I'm putting off 😂
I was going to say I didn't achieve much non-work stuff (having worked 9.30-7pm) but actually I did a workout this morning, applied for a postal vote at lunchtime, and this evening we've been food shopping, which i think counts as enough for one day!
Off on a train to the big city first thing tomorrow, just for the day. Going out for tea too so won't be back til late - yet another leaving do (at least they're leaving another organisation this time, not the one I work for!)
That's it I think.
Fortunately I have done enough that I won't be working on Friday (and if other people think I haven't, then it's tough) so I am very much looking forward to a normal-length (for me) weekend!8 -
Well done on getting through the busy day, and getting enough done you can not work tomorrow 😊. Enjoy your train journey, and the leaving do tonight!Live the good life where you have been planted.

I am on the train, with my breakfast, brought from home 😊 Unfortunately I forgot my water bottle so had to pay £2.49 for a 500ml bottle 😱😱 It was the local stuff too, bottled not a million miles from where I got on the train 🙄😂 £2.49!! That'll teach me to forget it!7 -
Urgh, I hate it when that happens, and train prices are so blooming expensive! Although with me it would be coffee at this time in the morning 😂. Still, at least you are not buying breakfast as well. Small wins 😁Live the good life where you have been planted.

Have a good day!
Train journey is uneventful so far aside from some rather slurpy kissing from the seat behind me 😱🙉😂 I'm very tired though - only just got 6 hours of sleep last night and not had a full 8 hours for a while and I'm already ready for a nap! 😂7 -
Must be the kind of day for forgetting pack-ups! I missed my first train as had to put my pack up together and then almost missed the second as I'd left the pack-up at home on the kitchen counter! OH was not best pleased to have to drive home even though we are only 5mins away from the station by car!

Hope you had a good day RT! I missed our village commemoration yesterday.
I've finished the patio! 😃 Well, finished the tiles anyway - I do need to plonk some stones round the edges and sort out the rest of the space, but that's a job for the rest of the weekend. Really pleased with myself for just pottering and doing it in little bits of time 😊
