My sister's offered to send her her pet snake 😬😂
I hadn't noticed, but Mr C had scattered some oats on the floor round the trap, and they've gone this morning, so they've clearly been investigating. We'll so the same thing tonight.
Anyway, new non-job have slightly redeemed themselves by promptly sending quite comprehensive feedback from the panel this morning. It's useful actually, not really the obvious things I thought they'd pick up on (eg lack of experience in certain areas) but rather some of my answers where I could have given more detail abouvarious aspects, or picked up on things I didn't think to mention. Really useful and thought provoking for next time.
Other than that they were very positive though, so I do feel better about it 😊
(They still could have rung me though 😂)9 -
So glad that the new organisation folk have communicated with you in a useful and timely manner. And it sounds like you aquitted yourself really well in interview - and it's great that you feel better about the whole episode.

We don't ring people Cheery. We assume they are busy during business hours - and everyone's business hours are different even before timezones are taken into consideration. We email, and if they want to have a debrief, we set up a call for it, otherwise it could result in hours of telephone tag.6

It’s been a bit of a roller coaster with the interview hasn’t it … Sorry you didn’t get it, but I’m glad the feedback was useful.I can rent out Mr KK with his air rifle and additional sight - how we dealt with our last lot of rats … he’s pretty good! 😉

I know you're farming Mr KK out for all kinds of jobs but I'm not sure I want him shooting an air rifle under my kitchen sink 😱😂KajiKita said:It’s been a bit of a roller coaster with the interview hasn’t it … Sorry you didn’t get it, but I’m glad the feedback was useful.I can rent out Mr KK with his air rifle and additional sight - how we dealt with our last lot of rats … he’s pretty good! 😉

I'll put my name on the list for the air-rifle solution - we live close to a river & cemetary and there is a rat run through the far end of our long victorian gardens - what I don't like is when they come for a wander and pilfer fallen apples!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Oh I don't mind them being outside, I kind of see that as inevitable here 😂 and I can handle the odd mouse inside. I have no interest in sharing my house with a rat!
Anyway, no further signs today...6 -
Right, I am FINALLY starting the weekend! Swapped today with one of next week's days, but as nobody would expect me to work today I've only checked my emails once, right at the end of the day 🤭 Got loads done!
So, tonight. Mr C isn't feeling well so the anticipated tidying and disinfecting will fall to me 😬 Counters etc done but anything non-urgent will be waiting for tomorrow.
Tonight's plan is:
⭐ make tea (including a couple of portions for the freezer)
⭐ tidy dining table
⭐ radiator dance with the remaining bit if yesterday's washing
⭐ pay car tax
⭐ banking & budget
⭐ flute practice
⭐ change upstairs sheets - I did downstairs yesterday, Mr C took upstairs off but I suspect didn't replace, and we all know how that ends... 😬
That'll do, I think. As for the rest of the weekend, the only definite thing is slimming world at 8 on Saturday - I've lost 4lbs so far but can't imagine I'll have lost this week, I've been munching my impatience and grouchiness a little 😬
Oh, and in munching news, Mr C has been rationing a packet of white chocolate coins i bought yesterday. I asked for one earlier and he COULDN'T FIND THEM. I think this is more 'forgot where he put them' than 'resident rat ran off with them' but the outcome is the same - I don't have any! 😱
This wouldn't have happened if I'd just eaten the whole packet yesterday 🤭😂6 -
Okay fair enough, I think Mr KK would draw the line at using an air rifle inside the house! 😉😊
The drama of the missing white chocolate buttons!! 😳😂😉 We need updates!! Or a restocking … 😉
@rtandon27 < logs further interest in Mr KK’s services … considers hassle factor and costs of hiring an apprentice as Mr KK is getting spread a bit thin and customer delays are looking possible … > 😉
