Thank you. I didn't even manage the flute playing 😂😂rtandon27 said:A no plan day! What a luxury - enjoy your downtime - flute & tidying &cooking sounds like more than enough for a lazy Sunday.
I did make a risotto, which did us both for tea and me for lunch tomorrow. I also managed to snag a free cuppa from the Octopods so we went to make use of that - went to a different town to normal as well. Free parking, and we didn't buy anything other than the non-free coffee while we were out.
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks packed for tomorrow, and I'm going to park at my friend's house as I left my coat there the other day so want to collect that at tea time. So free parking and a decent walk (hope it's raining less than today, must remember my brolly).
Didnt do much else, other than a lot of episodes of Call the Midwife and my crochet blanket border. Got one and a quarter rounds left, very close now! The border is a LOT better than the first time - VERY glad I've taken the time to faff about unravelling and doing it again.
Oh, and I've reset my house-tidying card system, going to try and follow it for at least a week as I'm sure that'll make me feel a lot less overwhelmed.5 -
I saw an article this morning about keeping rats out of your house using foil. It’s from the Mirror, via Apple News https://apple.news/AAbaqNGtTRbaZgxYjs9Ou6g3

Thank you, that's helpful. I'll wait til we're free this time then set to with the foil.4

Thanks for the 🐙 cuppa reminder Cheery - I’ve just snagged one for my trip to the market town later. I never usually remember before they’ve sold out!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Ha,I don't get them every week any more since they switched to daily release - I'm either not early enough or, like today, was awake early enough but just forgot! We do have a very regular coffee habit so it's worth it- Mr C often uses it for a large coffee with an extra shot so on that it's worth £4.75 😱6

I was pleased to read your post this morning as it reminded me to check and managed to get a free coffee. DH will use it on Thursday morning when I have an appointment in town. I don't often remember to check but must try to more often as we go into town quite regularly!

I can't remember the last time I managed to get a Caffe N code for a freebie - it only ever seems to be the Gr3ggs ones left now when I check. I'm not surprised the others whizz out though as they are a LOT more flexible aren't they - and I suspect the coffee is better, too!
For a moment back there I thought KK was offering the use of MrKK and the air rifle to go after the HR department...

You have to be up early to snag a Caffe N code! I only usually manage it before about 7.15am and not always then!5 -
