Thank you all for your kind and generous birthday wishes! I am having a nice day, currently in our second cafe 😂 bit drizzly here, but I've bought another book 😂 They're interesting, some quite well-known but older work-related stuff that is never by new but I'm happy to pay £4 but you just so rarely sees in a charity shop.
Much excitement earlier when a pigeon landed on mr Cheery's shoulder. He LOVES pigeons and I tried really hard to get a picture but the phone in selfie mode had a timer on it and i couldn't fiddle quickly enough to remove it. Anyway, that's likely to be the most exciting thing that happens this weekend 😂9 -
Happy Birthday young lady 🎈 Hope you have a fabulous day.

LWAP £5k for 2 implants? How many crowns?
I have paid £6,400 for 3 implants but each has 2 crowns so 6 teeth gain
Would have been cheaper if I didn't need the bone graft
Mine also lectures worldwide and has actually shown my case as it was so complicated/tricky/very near the sinus
Definitely worth it, I was at the stage of only being able to eat with my front teeth which was going to wreck them
happy birthday !DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Thank you all for the cheerful birthday wishes 😊 We had a lovely rest of our weekend away, although we came home very tired and quite hungover 😬😂
Work today was cheerful, and I was in town so it was a nice trial run for when our offices move there next year 🙄 This will be far less convenient for me generally, but actually I was in town by 8.45 this morning and the traffic wasn't too bad (the worst bit was the bit I normally go through anyway) and I managed to get a parking permit so parked for free, so that bodes well.
Home now and Mr Cheery is out. I've done the washing up, and a workout, and had a goals meeting with my sister 😂
Have also paid money into both our new accounts to hopefully qualify for the latest bank switch - I can't find the written details but I'm convinced there was a deadline of 29th so hopefully this counts as meeting that. Cant log in to Mr Cheery's account to check he has 2 working DDs as he's not here but I think they should have switched from the previous account. And if not, I'll chalk it to experience and get my act together sooner next time - not sure why I was putting this one off but I definitely was! Hey ho. Will need to retrieve that cash back over the next few days - it's £3000 between us 😮
Nothing much else financial to report. It would be entitled to do YNAB tonight as it's the end of the month tomorrow and I'll have a semi late night i think. Also want a go on the IPL machine, and need to pack bag for tomorrow (lunch is made, just need to make sure I have all the paperwork etc I need). Might just wear the same clothes as today to keep it simple 😂
Right.

Hmm, may have missed Mr Cheery's bank switch - I transferred the payment yesterday (which I have in my head was the deadline, but I don't have that written down anywhere) but my bank flagged it as fraud this morning and wanted confirmation 🙄 Of course they just sent me a text saying that - to the same number they'd already sent a confirmation text to last night... But I suppose I can see the point of flagging something a few hours later rather than immediately. Just a bit annoying as I was paying from a joint account (with Mr Cheery's name on) into another account with his name on, which was verified by them.
Never mind, lesson learned, don't leave things til the last minute!8
