Cheery - I empathize with the flagged "fraud" - I do wonder about the programming behind the AI, truth be told.

I've just had an interesting experience with one of my cards.  I recently put a very large purchase (annual train pass) on the card which went through with no problems and was paid off the following month! (Think in the thousands, not hundreds.) That particular card is only used for large purchases and any coffee shop apps I use when having work meetings over coffee (claimable expense iyswim).  Said card also has lovely cashback offers, so last weekend, I needed to make another large, planned online purchase & suddenly my card was locked.  When I called to ask why they claimed suspected FRAUD.  I went through all the questions with the very hard to understand overseas representative but did retort snidely and ask what business it was of his what my mortgage payments were given they were not with his bank, and also told him the limits on my other cards were also none of his business & told him to ask me other questions.  Well - his response was - the computer says no - you will need to wait for a letter in the mail.  Well said letter is still pending, more than a week later & I can't get into my account online to access a credit of a few hundred that is sitting on the card! GRRRRRR

    ...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)
New projection - 14 YEARS 10 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 15 mths)
Psst...I may have started a diary!

I prefer eating coco pops by the fistful, which is why I no longer buy them.
