I love how the nascent windowsills are keeping you company 😉
That looks like it worked really well 😊 Is that a little fire pit in the centre of the gazebo? 🔥

Ha, yes, windowsills are still in the garden! 😂 At least it's not my fault any more - wholesale blaming the friend who's agreed to sort them for us 😂
And yes, it's a fire bucket thing - we use it o cook on sometimes (usually just veggie burgers in a frying pan - it's not a bbq). Had a little fire in it last night. It's a lot closer to the edge than it looks in that picture!
For some bizarre reason I agreed to having my counselling appointment at 8am today (before I knew we were having visitors) but it seems everyone else didn't go to bed til 5am so it's pretty quiet round here (and I need to shove in some breakfast and leave in the next 8 mins!)7 -
Good grief Cheery - why in the world would you agree to do anything at 8am that didn't involve coffee & a pastry??? 🤣4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! In reality i didn't realise we'd have guests, didn't book swimming, didn't go to bed til 1.30am, and didn't have time for breakfast before I went 😂😂 so not quite what I planned but I've been far more useful this morning than the rest of the household! 😂9 -

I resent anything before 10am!
Folks at work usually greet me with 'have you had a coffee' or 'would you like a coffee' if they really need something at an ungawdly hour!
10am to 6pm are my optimal hours!
@Cheery_Daff - well at least you got the important bit done bright and early - hope you got home to some coffee & breakfast!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Gazebo is still up - we have visitors coming tomorrow and while I hope the weather will be good there's no point taking it down at this stage.
LPG saga rumbles on, although I hope is reaching a conclusion soon. They'd refunded two sets of money (which did add up to the right amount) to our LPG account, not our bank. I requested it back through the online system, as there was no sign of the complaints team having done it. Just checked the account, and it's now showing a balance of £0, with a payment request on 29th May and due (presumably TO me, not FROM me) on 12th June.
No idea whether I triggered this or the complaints team (I'm inclined to suspect me, given that it's not even been triggered since 2 weeks after the last complaints team email assuring me it would be done, and about 5 days after I requested it myself). Also not sure why it'll take them another fortnight to get it back to me, but hey ho.
Will make a note to check and hopefully we can draw a line under the whole saga.
Strongly suspect they've not cancelled my direct debit as requested. They've just sent an invoice for the standing charge which says 'payment due by direct debit' 🙄 not sure i can face any more arguing with them about it, we'll see.
Right, Friday is Fun Day so I'd best get up and about! 😃
