Ha, what a lovely little MSE party to come back to! 🥳😂 Thank you all!
No particular plans for it - it goes back into the general home maintenance pot from whence it came 😂 Well, split between there and the pot for paying our friend to do the windowsills (which is technically home maintenance too I suppose, but I'd set aside a specific pot for that).
Anyway, must do banks/YNAB this week before I forget about it!
Nice evening here. Lovely and sunny. I was weeding the garden, Mr C had just brought me a cuppa and was heading back to he house when he returned with two strangers 😂 who turned out to be the neighbours in the village who people have been telling us we should meet since we moved here, since apparently our interests overlap 😂😂 Only taken us 7.5 years to actually bump into each other 😂😂 They regularly walk past our house (on the footpath, not in a weird stalker way), and we walked past their house just the other day, but somehow in all these years we've never met 😂
Anyway, we made them a cuppa and they stopped for an hour and we had a nice chat 😊 Swapped numbers and will hopefully see them again soon. I feel like we should make a general announcement to the neighbourhood or something 😂
Office tomorrow. Breakfast, lunch and snacks packed, plus a reusable cup - I'll be at a different site in the afternoon with no kitchen access, so I'll get tea from the cafe, and a reusable cup gets me a substantial discount 😁 Also got a parking permit for the office so I think I'll leave the car there and walk to the other place. Only got a month left of being able to do that before my current office closes forever 😕
Which reminds me, I need to clear the place out 😱 And we are shifting to hotdesking 🙄 with no storage space, so anything I don't throw away will have to come home, so I'll need to be ruthless! Might have to set aside a whole day to clear stuff out, there's quite a bit 😬8 -
Great news about the neighbours 😊
What a pain about the hot-desking. That would really frustrate me and make me less productive ….
Did I read right …? You’re getting someone else to finish the windowsills …?? 😊😊😊
