Don’t think the NW money is due until the v 18th.
Is that Rocket Gardens? I’ve had that before - ordering at the last minute results in waiting a lot longer than I’d like at this time of year. Pre-ordering is definitely more timely, but you have to know you want/need the plants!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Aha, thank you both, I'll keep an eye out 😊
Yes @themadvix it's Rocket Gardens (how did you know?!) 😂 Still no sign so it looks like it'll be tomorrow - at least I'll be here to retrieve it from wherever they stash it!
Long day of work today, but I'd booked a spin class at the gym this evening, so I went, and it's a nice round off to the end of the working week, and stopped me working too late. Might try to make that a regular feature - I don't get enough vigorous exercise, and that definitely counted as vigorous! 😂
Need a bit of a list for the weekend, but I need something to eat first...7 -
Morning chums 😊 Nice weekend so far, but yesterday was a long day and I'm already not moving very fast (or at all) today... planned to get up for a long walk, and a visit to a nearby open far, but it's half 10 and I'm still in bed. Also want to get those plants out (they arrived, and look good! Temporarily in the greenhouse in damp soil but need planting out today). And want to put some washing away, do a bit more practice before band rehearsal later. And check on the banks.
Instead I'm just lying here saying 'I should have got up earlier, now I don't have time to do everything, so stupid' which is hardly helpful or motivating!
So.
* up and dressed and breakfast as a starting point
* farm visit - it's only open one day a year after all. Should be home by 2pm at the latest.
* flute for 30 mins
* plant out new plants
* change sheets
If there's time, put clothes away and banking, but if not, I can do that tomorrow night while Mr C's at his band practice.

Ha, you're right of course!
I did get up and dressed ⭐ and did the farm visit, and a quick trip to the shop for milk etc. Home now, and there's a cow in the garden 🙄 Not entirely sure how it got there, can't see a gap in the wall, and can't figure out how to get it back in the field! It saw me, so I'm hoping it figures it out for itself while I'm inside having a cuppa. Otherwise I'll have to ring the farmer to help, and my plants will have to wait til tomorrow!7 -
Trying to save you a trip to get milk? 😁6

Perhaps the next diy course should be on how to milk a cow, and every time the cows wander into the garden, they will have to pay the toll by donating to your grocery stash!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Fortunately when I went back outside all 12 cows were in the field again, without intervention from either me or the farmer. Still not sure where she escaped from, so I'll have to do some better investigating tomorrow when it's not raining, if the farmer doesn't figure it out first. We're a pretty long way from a road so I'm not really concerned for anything other than yet more craters in my lawn 😂
Got half of the plug plants planted in the veg patch - I'll do the others tomorrow night. Hope they don't get eaten by slugs overnight 😬 They're pretty big and sturdy so fingers crossed. I've got 10 tall beans, 10 dwarf beans, 10 kale, 3 courgette, 3 summer squash. Fingers crossed. Plus I've managed to grow others myself - radish, pak choi, beetroot, yet more kale (can't have too much kale 😂) etc.
My mum is coming on a very quick trip tomorrow. Apparently there's a problem with the date I wrote on my bit if her power of attorney form 🙄 I must have got a number wrong, written over it, then never thought to initial it 🙄 They actually sent MY letter to my sister, in the envelope with her letter. Mum's letter is dated a couple of weeks ago, and they want it back in 15 working days or you have to start all over again! 🙄
So rather than relying on the post (I have to sign, with a witness, then she has to sign, then she has to post it, and it has to be with them by Friday), she's going to nip here tomorrow while I'm working at home, then get it sent at our local post office.
What a palaver! Still, best to deal with these things immediately!
Never did get round to banking or much else, but I did have a healthy tea, and changed the sheets on the bed 😊8 -

What a pain about the hot-desking. That would really frustrate me and make me less productive ….
Did I read right …? You’re getting someone else to finish the windowsills …?? 😊😊😊
KK
And yes, hotdesking is a pain in the backside. More frustrated at having no storage - I've accumulated quite a lot of work related books over the years and am now expected to either ditch them or store them at home. Nowhere to keep stationery, emergency stashes of painkillers/toiletries, whiteboard pens etc - everything will have to be carted in and out each day (including plugs for laptops etc), and you can't even keep desk set up between meetings/teaching, which is REALLY annoying, and it's right in the town centre so there's no free parking.
I understand plenty of people round the world do it already, I understand it'll save them money on office space (although I wish they'd just admit that's the reason rather than trying to spin it as 'innovative' and 'exciting' and 'collaborative') but it's still rubbish!
Anyway, enough moaning, best get up and get on!Live the good life where you have been planted.
