My afternoon cooking plans have been derailed too Cheery, although for more sociable reasons. However, for you it’s definitely important to have a fully functioning car ahead of the weather arriving!

Oh how absolutely infuriating! And so frustrating that the damage happened now which means you will be looking at it all winter 😢
Mr KK would have reacted similarly ….

Thank goodness you have managed to find a good, local alternative.

They day's not getting better 🙄 Got home from town to find a rope tied across our lane (I assume someone moving cows earlier had forgotten about it). Then I tried earlier to change a light bulb in a wall light in the kitchen and have somehow knocked the circuit out for all the wall lights 🙄

Still. Mr C has fixed the lights (and also changed the bulbs), we've untied the rope (I assumed nobody was still moving cows in the dark but I suppose we'll find out 😂).

The day has been so disrupted I'm just going to carry on working for a while.

Mr C was meant to be out, but has decided against it because of the weather forecast - I'm glad about that as I'd rather he wasn't driving in the snow, but it does probably mean I won't get my list ticked off!
