Morning all. Hope you're all ok.
Valli, I've sent you a message.
Today, I have done a work shift, hoovered through and ironed two items.Spend less now, work less later.6 -
I know its not glam, but I can be at Chester Services in two hours from here (reasonably near the M6). Might be a meet up option?x5

Power washing is done for now, everything cleaned and put away, need to fine sand the drive way, but it needs to fully dried out first.Back and sides of hearth painted, now the delivery company has found and delivered the paint. The paint its self soaks in to the concrete very quickly, I'm not sure I'll have enough for 2 full coats, but equally I'm not buying any more at that price, one and a bit coats will have to do.Kitchen sorted and cleanedWm x 1 done of all 'work paint clothes' and rags I have been wearing or using, now on whirly in the sun.Pizza for dinnerSunflower seeds are now starting to break through.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi all
Hope you got somewhere with the docs Pigpen.Funny old day here, I had planned everything around cycling with my ladies group and 5 minutes before I was about to swing my leg over the bike and set off i got a message to say it was cancelled. To be fair it is bitterly cold and windy but that threw me.
So paid stuff has been done, have dusted and hoovered, dried some laundry outside and have seen parents and DS1.
DS1 rang me on his way up North a couple of weeks ago and asked if I would pay his Tyne Tunnel toll. I was busy at work and the minute I put the phone down I forgot. He has got a £30 fine and says it's entirely his own fault because he should have sorted it, but I do feel a bit guilty. Should I contribute?
Fire lit, feet up, crisps and wine as a Friday treat.6 -

Morning everyone xx
Hope you managed to get some sleep asb xx
Sat watching TV last night. 9.10pm Big knock on the front door 😳. Put the chain on and opened the door a fraction. Chap stood there with my Sainsbury delivery. Erm. That's very nice of you but I haven't ordered a Sainsbury delivery. (Ever. In my life) This is Number 6? Yep, but it's still not my delivery. Oh. I'll check my paperwork says he. And takes his box of groceries away. I think he delivered to Number 4 in the end. 🤔 I do hope the planets realign soon - it's been a weird week.
Called at the hairdresser's on my way home and had my hair cut. Also booked myself in on the morning of the wedding for a blow dry....😊 So that's sorted. ✅
I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, taken my meds, completed Wordle and Connections, and supped a brew. I didn't check the time until I was downstairs. 7.20am. That is so not me. Usually I check the time as soon as I wake up. I don't remember ever getting up not knowing what time it is. To a creature of ritual and routine it was quite disturbing 😳. I wonder if I would have gone back to bed if it was twirly? 🤔
And so. Tis the weeeeekeeeennnd 💃💃 And did I mention that I'm on Annual Leave this week? Gird your loins....I'll be in all week. During a q-word moment at work I wrote myself a to do list covering my aspirations for the week. It involves buying Easter eggs, removing gates, boxing stuff up for DS to reclaim my draining board, and tadahhh flying 😇
Brew 2 next. I'll be back later with a Round.
Love to all

morning all
kind of a lazy day yesterday because i was waiting for the pharmacy to call. They didn’t, results of the chase suggests they didn’t call because they hadn’t had the prescription, any way they asked if i could pick up the meds. Well given DD works in the same building she’ll pick them up on Monday.
Knitting went well, white cardi finished, just needs sewing up and buttons on, which i have. Lilac cardi back finished and a sleeve done. These are the same pattern so I am getting used to it now. Will get buttons on Monday. Note to self…take wool strand to colour match.
I am going on a bread making course this afternoon.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Porridge eaten, brew 2 being supped.
I removed the 'stuff' littering the coffee table and deposited it on the kitchen table. I then gathered together all the 'stuff' scattered over the kitchen table and put it in a neat pile. So it looks tidier if nothing else. Defunct raffle tickets to be recycled are the only flinging so far. But, like I said, looks better.
Round 1
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Put new bin bags in bins
Box up DS's drinking paraphernalia
That'll clear the draining board ready for WU in Round 2. Hmmm. It's a plan.
Back soon

Morning all,
Flying has been sadly eluding me all week. Again. But I have read along, and now promptly forgotten everything that I read, so hugs, sticks and spoons aplenty, please help yourselves.
It’s a slow start to the day here, after an evening out with friends at their house. Lovely evening, but it has slowed my Saturday right down. Not sure what the plan is for today, but the wm has just finished, I need to rummage in the freezer for tonight’s dinner, and sort out the fridge, where DH stuffed the Mr M delivery on Thursday. That’s it for starters, I might try to fill the green bin, as it isn’t raining and the fresh air will probably do me good, iyswim.
Have a lovely day all. I’ll be back with progress, assuming that there is some, of course. x6
