Dried up dishes and scrubbed kitchen sink. Have been round house cleaning all doors including outside of back and front doors. Exercise class next. No more flying for me today apart from washing tonight's dishes.Spend less now, work less later.6

Round, I have polished off all my spoons. Even my grandmother’s 2 sets (yes, I know) of pastry forks which could sort of double up as spoons. Sending them winging NEastwards for you xx
It’s been a flying day so far. Bedding changed, washed, and now hanging out on the line. Upstairs cleaned. Ditto the bathrooms. Gibble picked up and rehoused. Dentist visited. She sorted out the broken tooth during my check up appointment. I am now poorer, but not as much as I know some dentist visits are. DH went to the doctor’s. Turned out his appointment is for tomorrow 🙇♀️. They had even texted him to confirm, but he was convinced it was today, so he has to make another trip out tomorrow 🤣. I have dropped him at the pub in the next village to meet an ex work colleague. Seems that I am on pick up duty as well later. I’m thinking of sending him for a summer school with Mr Narc0, to see if he can pick up some good habits.
Next job - book a Mr M slot.6 -
Folded 4 loads of laundry and put away about 3.. and I have a huge bag of socks/pants/tights to sort.. I need to sort the girls drawers.. poor Squeak has no trousers and maybe 4 tshirts which fit!
I need another cuppa.. and a trip to buy more wool for this cardigan for Harper.. I am going to run out very soon.. maybe 3-4 rows worth left.. I shall demand OH takes me in the morning.. I will get 2 balls so the remainder can knit another simple cardy.. this one is a bit fancy and the last 2 were very fancy. I want to do Beanie a jumper and then aran summer cardies are called for.. I am not a fan of knitting cables.
Off to gather laundry from the bthroom.. I can't carry the basket downstairs but I can fill it up.
I have filled a small bag with rubbish from my room, taken delivery of some christmas/birthday presents.. Jazzles birthday next, on the 26th so I need to source him a present.. and something for Beanie on 13th April.. then Liony on the 3rd May..

Train tickets booked for March 24th - I am going to York.
Compost bin lifted off compost (and it was way faster to type it than it was to do it - much leverage was involved) top of pile ruturned to repostioned bin; bottom of pile shovelled into a bucket (numerous bucketsful) and tipped onto garden. Patio swept and garden clogs and patio now drying; hopefully I can sweep again later, and brush the layer of compost from the clog soles.
rest of laundry ironed, lots brought upstairsDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hope you find someone who can help you piggers. There must be assistance / guidance out there....but I haven't a clue how you'd access it. Beanie is never nearly a year old! When did that happen?
Today I spent the most money in one go that I've ever spent in my life. And I feel quite faint 🤣. Feargal is no longer mine. I traded him in for a much newer model. Flying was involved: I took the few bits out of Feargal before I handed him over. My new motor doesn't have a name yet. He's blue. And has a diesel engine. And only cost £20 to tax for the year. MSE 😉 I've changed my insurance over and I'm ready to go. Only I don't know how to switch on the lights so I can't go anywhere now it's dark 🤣
Thank you for offering your Da's help piggers. And for your wise words. You have a wonderful knack of saying the right thing.
Right. Food. I need food. What a topsy turvy day!

Agree with what Round said Pigpen, hope you find someone to help you sort it. Glad the car situation is resolved Round.DH is a bit further on with unravelling the nonsense that is DWP. He got a Fitness for Work note signing him off for 6 months but DWP won't accept it, they have to have two x 3 months Fit Notes. No-one told DH this but after the DWP sending two identical letters and a 45 minute phone call with them, and then having to wait for the doctors to do their bit I think we are getting there.
Work has been manic. DH has hoovered and made a roast dinner. I have put clean washing away, changed our bed and bought essential supplies on the way home. Tired now.6 -
