  • umm...sold my old jam pan for 20 and a book on GM which is good. Failed miserably on the drink nowt challenge & going to start from next wek me thinks. I enjoy my Sun with sense and sensibility in readyness for Monday...any excuse eh!
A goodish week DFW wise. I now have my grocery challenge purse but cheated slightly by putting the last wine on my card!! Naughty but really couldnt be bothered today even knowing as I punched my number in that it was counter productive IYKWIM!
Never mind! Seeing GP for nicotenine replacements tomorrow & Mon is the day to stop alch & smoking - need a firm date as I did last time & Mon is it! No excuses! Feeling very hot$, want to get out of my skin hot, despite the fact its minus 20 & my lips are chapped so going to ask GP if hormones could be to blame...
Savings piggy coing on nicely but a hard day in work & some cooking when I got home left me with no enthusiasm for more tonight - I have 4 in various stages of develpment & that may explain why I lost enthusiasm! Must also do my CJ and have a nice quiet w/e (boring old fart am I!!) to do it this w/e. Want to get to the allotment and tip but thats it! May also see a friend, go for a plod & see if I can read 100+ pages of my book club book by Mon! Yeah right on the latter!

i saw some mini journals in the range they weren't that expensive but i've decided as i've got a whole sheet of mount board which i can cover i'll stick with that idea but it will probably be held together with ribbon or something similar so it's easy to open and scrap in.
  • good thinking batman...i covered cardboard!

  • Well good news is that I got a cheque (& stroppy letter) from plumbers today - £135 better off than I was this am and goes some way to the 600 bill at Christmas. Also got a barganous coat at 27 in the sale and sold the jam pan & posted the GM book! Hurrah! Even better am now up to £30 on pigsback but JPL vouchers out of sock it would seem :( In addition spent ages on the phone with pet plan & it transpires that they have duplicated my policy an now owe me (by my calculatons) £108...yahoo!! An extra £200 at least o CC this month which is great news! QUiet weekend planned making chutney and jam & having a general tidy & clearing "the cupboard" of old paint cans!! Off to bed I go after a bowl of ereal - woke at 4.30am again & suspect I dint have enough t eat again but did manage to skim read a fair amount of my book group book (1 flew over the cuckoos nest!!) & may mange it by Mon at this rate. Sad news is my good friends are moving back to NZ on MOnday so some painful goodbyes this w/e. Will see them again but will take a cuple of years of piggy saving to get there...

Taking to myself again! Not a v good debtbusting day as got a tapestry & frame :( Tapestry stuff ok but frame was a want rather than need...Woke up at 4am again which really annoyed me as in agony (wish I was a man!) & been feling bleugh! Decided to join Rosemary conely online and kick but from next week. Enjoying my last wine & fags before the onslaught. GP says hot !flushes! are prob the remains of cold and I suspect now that it was hormones as well so thats good - hope for my ovaries yet! Had a productive day with washing done, jam & chutney made and another layer on a piggy for my boss & about to put aother coat of paint on mine. Good news is that I am ahead of myself with grocery challenge & would have done better if I hadnt sent 14 on nice "last" wine so gives me hope for the months ahead. Had a lovely email from my mum which meant alot, I have to say goodbye to my friends tomorrow which makes me feel really sad as I'm going to miss them...alot! Its great for them though as they soon get to move into their newly built house which they designed & have a much more gentle way of life in NZ. Good also for their 2yr old whose been living a nomadic life for a while with lots of moves so they are all looking frward to getting settled in their new home. Definate early night needed tonight - my old neghbor is coming for breakfast tomorrow so I need to set the bread maker so we have yummy fresh bread for brekkie! Cant beat it!

Been an emoonal day as I said goodbye to my friends K&J who are goig back to NZ tomorrow so wont see them for a couple of years and theyre good friends so its going to be a wrench...saying goodbye was tearful & awful. I loathe those kinds f goodbyes & been dreading it all week. We were OK untik the goodbye hug & then both of us lost it :( Just had my last wine & fags & now off to bed...fresh start again tomorrow! Eah day a new day n all that! Havent read the book group book though! oops!

Hey hon - how's it going today? I hate those type of goodbyes too. They do my head in!

Been tested today regarding the smoking - OH asked if I wanted him to pick any up (well of course I do!!) but I said no :)

Hope you've had a lovely day.
