Hey ISOM - what you up to? Hows RC going? I'm finding it quite hard and can't really get my head round the whole low calorie/gi thingy as am getting confused and just eat things that are low calorie but no idea if low gi - also I am finding the website quite hard!
I'm sure I'll get there in the end!
Hope all good

I find the website very unfriendly and have complained!
I am still trying to be good though. however, I am working at the ski club tonight and they do really good hot chocolate - neither low GI nor low CalSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hey sweetie,
Congrats on the shiny new star!
I am having a bit of a weekso I haven't been on here much, but I just wanted to say Hi  so you don't feel like you're talking to yourself!
It's definitely decided that my grandmother won't be going home to her old house when/if she comes out of hospital cos she can't live by herself any more, so we've been trying to clear her place out - which seems to be taking ages as we keep finding memories in amongst the massive quantities of junk.
It feels a bit wrong to be going though someone elses stuff as well even though she says she doesn't want any of it and it'll be a weight off her mind to get it all cleared and gone.
My slimming efforts have gone completely out of the window. I think I need to join a club or something to keep me motivated, and I'm finding the £4K (or £10K in my case.:D ) challenge quite daunting. Even though I am only spending on essentials I'm still spending loads more than the £10k budget allows.
Anyway..enough moaning. On the good news front Hubby has been logging on to MSE quite a lot (I made it our homepage ages ago in the hope that he would!) and having read up about insurances he changed his car insurance to one that isn't much cheaper - but it is much better for his needs, so that's good.
I hope you're all right chick.

hi all,
well survived the full week of work but like most pooped havin a quiet weekend! Bread is baking fr tomorrows luxury breakfast in bed (book, toast & home made marmalade - bliss!). DFW wise done OK - late videos but food budget def imporved with the cash approach. RC going OK but hacked off with the website as its hard to use. Logged on for two buddies & hadnt replied as of yesterday! My neighbor is back so peace of last 2 wks gone which was inevitable....Sea all low gi means is foods that release enrgy slowly so you dont get hungry so quickly! Just follow the sheet as much as you can. I havent been perfect as dont want to waste food in the house & finished off my rich tea biccies today - low fat but not on the sheet!
Sorry to hear about your granny Jacks...has she been poorly? Didnt realise she was not at home? Be gentle with yourself - moving things out of teh house is bound to be painful so make sure you give yourself some TLC. You can only do your best re the budget and its about getting a balance so pay those debts off but dont go loopy doing it eh!Let me know if I can help at all...

Thanks hon - I got a WHSmith gift card for Christmas and so bought the book!! I thought if I've spent £50 on it, I'm jolly well going to understand it! It is helping a little.
I didn't realise there were buddy things on the site - will have to investigateHave you received your extra bits through the post from RC yet? I haven't and thought I might have done (joined weds). Did receive the free thorntons chocolate bars I won before Christmas though - will have to take them into work on mon - talk about timing!
Hope you're having a lovely day hon.
