  • Also that have asked her a number of times not to ask for money but she keeps doing it & I now feel really used and angry. Am I being unreasonable? I dont think I am as I do feel she's taking the mick...I know I live a different type of life to them but I work hard & also have alot more bills to pay so its all relative...

You aren't being unreasonable at all, I wouldn't lend a penny. You've already done so much for her!

Try not to feel angry, though, just realise it's her problem, not yours, and try not to waste valuable life time stressing over her <hug>

Hiya there hon how are you doing today? Good i hope. I hate it when people ask for money as it puts you in such an awkward position. I'm not suprised you feel angry. I don't think that you are being unreasonable at all. you ork your butt off for your money why should people just take that from you? next time she asks tell her all the things that you do for extra funds. and that you'd be prepared to help her with this but that these are all the things you have to do to get the bills paid each month. I think she may be suprised.
Big hug and keep going with the diet and fag free quest. Lots of love. xxx

Hi ISOM sounds like the diet is going really well, reminding me to be more motivated! i really want to find a farm shop now i have read it on here, i used to live near loads of farms so got everything fresh from there, i really miss doing that. the one i went to used to make home made jelly babies, so much nicer than the brand ones. i used to get them on the way home from school.

I'm going to look out for a farm shop now too - I saw a repeat of the first bit of the chicken programme on 4+1 last night - looks really interesting, but I'm not sure when the other bits will be repeated.

Hope that your bread, books and jam morning was fabulous! :D

I couldnt watch the chicken programme, I was veggie from leaving home for 8 years, and now i hardly eat any meat. mostly because my oh will never be veggie and it makes cooking easier sometimes. he doesnt even notice when i use quorn mince instead! • Afternoon all! I can cnfirm that while farm shop ham is expensive (£4 for 6 slices) its flippin yummy with my homemade chutney & malt bread! I am now living the good life!!
Neighbor hasnt spoken to me since she asked for money & thats fine. P she knows how I struggle with my debts which is why it was all the more hurtful that she asked, plus I gave them a lovely Christmas meal! Flippin cheek!
Had a pottery day - cleaned out "THE" cupboard & extracted 3 black bags of stuff (old paint etc) and finished painting 2 more piggies so wil varnish all 3 later. ALso gt another batch of home made wine to make so stuff is sterilizing as we speak. WIlkinsons had a special offer & had a lovely chat with a bloke who works there who knows what he is doing (unlike me!) which saved me a fair bit! Could murder a bottle of red though! Miss it o nights like tonight when its candles & a period drama!! I mean they're having it on TV so why shouldt I eh!!

  • Thought this in need of update as (a) have realised the effects of wine, not having had any; rang FD to arrange a sweep and all was fine until I began to speak & then realised that a bottle of merllt + speech+no drinking for a few weeks = concentration to speak required!!!
Feeling ok dfw wise as have had a few fair NS days and money in the account at the end of the month (a mircale thanks to grocery challenge & cash!). Problem is I get paid on 2oth but if that falls on a weekend that means the sweep is cocked up & even in bottle of merlot state realise that it his could be a disaster - ie could sweep all money to accounts despite the fact thats its needed for DDM's so decided (with lovely FD woman!!) that better to do it manually! Off to bed I go as training day tomorrow & sleep required!
