Hello all,Thanks for that taxi but def wine this time...that and hormones...Have had what I would call a bit od a day whis wasgood and not so good. Had lovely service in church and then ended up helping with the lunch - a good way of getting to see who is who and what is what! My cutney also went down well...
Then came home and decided to have a chat with

oo sorry phone went and been on non stop!! Had a chat with neighbor re noise...trying to come to an amicable resolution that both of us can live with. When they converted the flats they didnt do any soundproofing and preious neighbor and I just lived next door hapily while current neighbor is more sensitive and I feel some resolution is needed...all been quite stressful and upsetting for us both but am hoping we can come to amicable solution...possibly putting ventilator stuff between floorboards...
Also saw baby b who is a cutie and had a chat and cuddle. Mum is doing ok but theyre both tired...
Have done very little of patchwork other than some cutting this am...sort of ready for work tomorrow but its been a bit of a naff day (albeit cheap!) so will get an early night...spoke to mum and bessie mate and always good to feel loved when others make you feel unloved IYKIM! I hate conflict and have avoided this one for too long possibly (no definately!) but was getting so anxious that it had to be dealt with...
Tomorrow is w, the work late and home for bed before more w then patchwork then home to bed then w before home group before home to bed then work and who knows what!! collapse maybe? Am going to book a week off soon to get on with allotment, chill and help B out with baby B!! looking at this no wonder I feel tired lol!!

Just popping in at w before the next stint - a quick 10 mins off before!! Been a non stop day but productive! Also discovered that I can have contact lenses so went for a chat about that and turns out I've got funny shaped eys so have to have odd lenses but theyre a free trial for a week and then 12 a month which seems cheapish? Will have to investigate whether I can do it quicker the dfw way - sure I can!! I loathe wearing glasses and my eyes are getting worse so I am hoping that the lenses will stop the rot.
One advantage of working here is having access to people in the know and have managed to find a guy who will give advice on insulating the noise...free!! Sent various texts to neighbor so felt a bit better by the time I went to bed...
ok must on as things to do...did at least manage to get one thing done today!! yahoo...sucess!

Hi all...still investigating the soundproofing and it looks tricky...two ways of doing it properly - loweing the ceiling downstairs or raising my floor which would involve having to move radiators up, all skirting, fireplace etc...seemed easy at the start but not so sure now...will continue to investigate and discuss the options...also girl I know has a bf who is an architect so hopefully can also advise..
Feeling very tired and quite sick....unsure if its all the upset or whether I am coming down with something but have arranged to go into work late tomorrow and get a lie in and have booked Friday off. Realised I have 18 days leave to take so have booked a couple of odd days and a week in Nov and Feb...as will be owed toil by then too and it all get unmanageable if I dont book it in. Working over christmas and hopefully ny eve babysitting so that will be extra dosh...
Patchwork tonight but feeling not in the mood but said I would take someone for a lift so will go and will prob enjoy it when I get there...usually do...off to try and catch up with you before I go!

hi ISOM, i'm back in the land of the MSE after two weeks away from the site. Small thing to do with a wedding and a honeymoon.
I certainly needed the holiday, it's been May since i've had more than just the odd day and it was way too long.
I've also wanted to do some quilting, maybe i will sometime, but first i've gots lots of piccies (100's & 1000's) to scrap so i'll get to use up some of my stock.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone again.

Just back from patchwork which I'm pleased I went to as enjoyed it and had a rant!! Produced something I'm pleased with and it will become something too - probably a cushion which will then be a christmas pressie! voila money saved! Will of course post when finished!!
