  • hurro lovely people...phew am now off until Tues although going to heathrow on Sunday! Feel quite excited to be off tomorrow...sad but true! Have just said bye to handyman who is lovely and reasonable and I hope will do the floors - I just need to find out tomorrow how much the stuff costs and discuss with neighbor about whether to go ahead...fairly sure I will but not lookng forward to all the shifting but will try and have a pma about it and use it as an opportunity to spring clean and declutter!
Also been to my outpatients and theyve had a look at my back and are happy to discharge me which is good so thats now done.
Just going to have a nice w/e but need to get a passenger side wing mirror fixed as some lovely person thought it would be great to smash it - not just pull it off but smash the casing too...G*t...chucking it down here which I sort of like cos I feel all warm and snuggly and am going to clean micha out and let her try her new rock out in a bit but first to catch up with you lot...

Nice to see you have a few days off so some time to re-charge the batteries and great news on being discharged.
  • Just had a natter with my mum and shes gonna come and stay a night - we havent seen each other for a bit and have both been working hard and a bit grumpy so going to just have some chill time and relax! Thankfully houswork is pretty much done and if I'm lucky she may do my ironing!! Not sure about river cottage tonight as have a dvd to watch but will certainly be viewing hugh in the not too distant future lol! Going to immerse myself in a film, drink wine and have an early night...didnt sleep well last night as on call and got a call at 4.30am which scared me half to death and slept funny so arms been hurting!

have a safe trip to Londinium didn't realise you were so close.
I had a nasty shock when i updated my accounts today, a CC took a payment and a DD at the same time so they now have my mortgage money in their sticky fingers and are saying that they can't see the money on my account. Why does it not rain but pour?

I have bettered my challenge though, my debt stands at exactly 34k which though still huge is a major achievement.
