hi Bob...yup she's been to gp who is excellent, as is health visitor. Spent the day today and went to clinic and will go again on Monday for the day and will take some soup. shes doing all the right things and pacing herself and was a bit brighter today. I've asked them to lunch or supper on sunday if she feels up to it - a chage of scenery where baby b can scream happily may do her the world of good but think we'll have to play it by ear and see day to day...
Managed to get my unpicking for the banner (a job I offered to do) and its now in the machine. Feeling ok as had a nice day with more baby cuddles and hes def smiling and chatting now but thats ok cos I speak baby!! Icredible how much poo can come out of such a little thing though!
Back to w*** tomorrow but have visits all day so time tends to go fast. Treated myself to a nice lidl roast dinner which was 1/2 the price of m&s and just as nice lol! Will have to be restrained when I go to the show on sat because I can resist anything but temptation! Am being good and have turned heating down and in jumper and socks...dead sexy!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Bloomin freezing here and I'm not being MSE has have had the heating and two fires on..bad I know but I couldn't get warm.0 -
Just popping in as going to have a very early night as feeling very coldy...my friend sounds chirpier today but its going to take time, which I know for her is frustrating! A busy day in w with having to buy lunch then vitamins etc...a now dosed up with vits etc so hopefully a really good nights sleep may do the trick...hope so cos I'm meant to be going to the malvern show tom and was really looking forward to it...fingers crossed...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hope you feel well enough for the show tomorrow.Good news about your friend, should be nice if she comes around.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

hi ISOM i take my hat off to you helping your friend out like you have done. I love my nieces and nephews dearly but find them so tiring, they were much easier before they got personalities if you know what i mean

I don't seem to get online so much recently, must be marriage lol. Either that or i can't reach the keys with all the layers on. I had to give up and turn on the heating last night, but it's not made any difference we're still only at 13/14! I hate storage heaters, i'm terrified to turn them on because of the costs yet when i do turn them on they make no difference grrrrrrrrrr.
Have you done much scrapping recently? i've got to print wedding photo's out to start scrapping them0 -
hi all, still feel a bit cack but def going to the show so will now look see where were meant to go lol! then hoovering and sort washing up etc before a nice day out. Still feeling a bit coldy but will push through it and take more vitamins...I'd been lax on taking echinacia and 1000mg vit c that I try to do religiously in winter as it does seem to help me stave of colds..just started a bit late lol!!
No scrapping done of late lt as been focussed on the patchwork! Heating is a mare and my bills have just gone up to 100 a month for gas and elec but I loathe being cold...debating whether to get an electric blanket...mum swears by them. Really is very cold here this am and even with heating on, socks and fan am still quite chilly!!
No news of friend but will ring before I go off. I am confident that she will feel better soon and am more than happy to assist. Its awful seeing people you care about feel so low and I know that, as a good friend, she will be there for me in other ways when I need it...For me a good friendship is ups and downs and while one down, the other is up and does the supporting and it all evens out in the end! Plus I get lovely baby cuddles which for me, with none of my own and never likely to have, its extra special!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! hello all! Had a lovely time at the show and kept within budget. Got a few bits - a kit of a beautiful hand stitched panel which will be framed; a tool for basting which I can honestly say that if it was a man I'd marry it and a pencil that does dark and light and can be rubbed out. Have used the baster and its soooo much easier than sewing it all and as its the bit that I loathe and chuffed. Plus in typical dfw style managed to get some extra "ties" free so definately bargainous!
Also got an electric blanket which is lusious! my mum raves about hers and I can see why now! all yummy and snuggly!
Been feeling very cacky so bed by 8.30 and slept until 10 and will have a snooze this pm...feel better than I dd and am dosed up with vitamins and just having a gentle at home day which is much needed. The weeks caught up on me a bit....my friend is still struggling but I'll spend the day again tomorrow and will take my tapestry with me so at least I get something done!
All in all an expensive day yesterday and bank balance looking dire...thankfully I have lots of food in so wont need to spend much but when you consider that I spent nearly a hundred quid on petrol last wk its no wonder!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1!
