    blimy i appear to have missed an attack of trolls.

    ISOM we seem to have many things in common, i'd love to be able to learn how to make a quilt.
    About half hour drive away from me is a quilt shop with a unique charging structure. You sign a contract to turn up on saturday at 9am for 6mths, at this time you pay £5. For this you get 6 months of lessons including fabric. the only other conditions are that you must do your homework. If you arrive late or miss a lesson you have to pay £5 for each lesson that you do so. If you're a good girl you could effectively make an entire quilt for the cost of petrol and £5.

    LT I love the charging structure! Hows your dad?
    Have booked on an eve class starting in Sept for a year on patchwork/quilting which is 86 the whole year which is a bargain as other courses 65 for 6 sessions!! Also may have found a 2nd hand sewing machine! How exciting! Hugs all...back to lurkdom!
