    Its so bad its actually laughable isnt it eh! Got my own back when nice man took loads off so they actually paid for my wine for me!! The more I see/experience the less I like them and the time will come when I do go elsewhere but my problem is that they are the closest to me for petrol etc and if I went to Morrisons or Asda it would mean going out of the way but a reasonable bit...something to consider though..
    Have had a not good day at work...very busy and quite stressy and not helped by a crashing migraine so came home early and had a sleep. Migraine still there and decided to have a chinese which was yuck! Am so used to home cooking now that it really was yuk and most will go in the bin. Off to see a girl re patchwork a mo ago and shes given me lots of ideas and confirmed that I should get a mid range machine. I decided to get one as have now tried freecycle, 2nd hand and go nowhere and tbh havent had a holiday this year so feel I can justify the expense - its still cheaper than going away and will last alot longer! Plus much of my life is debt busting & making money and I do want to do sommat fun!! Feels right anyway and have arranged to go to brizzle on sunday with a friend...
    Have manged to get hold of allotment sec and have agreed that I will weed kill the plot over winter and then start afresh next year. With my op there is little I can do now as wont be able to dig etc now so feel this is the best way to kill the carp off and reduce stress of an impending weed order if I dont do sommat. Plus weather isnt looking great...puss cats all fine but flat a tip so going to have a tidy, sort washing and clean!

    Afternoon all. Well after much research I've got a machine here;
    http://www.sewingmachinediscount.co.uk/home/productzoom.asp?pid=2185
    I've looked, asked, hunted, investigated and priced and this is a barganous bargain - if I got it at John Lewis i would be alot more plus you dont get the quilting pack and scissors. Its also an x-display but has been services and has no scratched plus you also get an annual service free...am sort of wondering if its too good to be true as a whole package but tbh the fact that its 100+ cheaper plus an extra 100 for the quilting pack makes it affordable and I dont feel incredibly guilty as I would if I'd got the jpl one and then had to get quilting foot etc on top which would mean a cost of 350+ which would be too much. This way I get all I want plus free service and am a happy bunny!
    While I enjoy all the research etc for a new item I do find it quite exhausting! Can now settle down to actually doing my quilt which I have unpicked to start again. I have a day out with friend tomorrow and am meeting my cousin but will keep costs down. We'll eat out but other than that not much to get...will be nice just spending time with people I love and without the need for frantic shopping. Tonight will do nails, facepack & have an early night...most of chores done so can just chill & enjoy with a wee glass of wine! (or two) courtesy of tescos!!

    here is an example of what I will evenually make - probably in turquoise cotton fabric but that will be a way down the line as I need to hone technique first which is where the eve class comes in! Am really chuffed with the machine and do think I've got a bargain...hope it wont come under the too good to be true category but we will see! Do you do patchwork dragon? I'm happy with it KP - its alot of money but am happy that I didnt impulse buy. Nice to see you BTW Dragon - not seen you round these ere parts for a while! A few bits I want to get tomorrow - pins, a hoop and some threads and possibly this months book for book group!
    Will be nice to have a day out! Hope you all have a good day!
