Thats the worse mistake - moving he laptop downstairs - mine now lives permanently in front of the tv, do feel really guily as it was the one I had for ou, the desktop upstairs in my bedrm, but its a flaming junk shop, if our house ever got broke into I would dread the police going to my rm, they'd only find my fingerprints!

I have been stock piling birthday and xmas presents, I am addicted to Argos sales, the deals people recommend, I have 4 choc fountain thingies in boxes (only £3.99 with intro discount and then cash back from quidco), and the site halfcost, theres to many bargains, so have now done 90% of xmas shopping.

Oh the other side of coin, had a ngtmare day, ended up collasping, (stress related, thank you neighbours!!, and OU got on top of me), so 4 hrs in casaulty, as with me being built for comfort and not speed, took the brunt of the fall on my hand, thank god never broke my wrist, just badly bruised. Considering when I got to a+e, 2 hr wait as soon as I said I'd collasped, I was straight through, wired for sound (ok ecg machine), got the all clear.

so have decided to knock social sciences on head, and just do 1 course at a time,

Took a leaf out of ur book buffy, take smaller chunks, my end plan is to be debt free mar 2011, but if I have a bad month, then so what, I cant live like a nun, I need a life, so small steps get to giant leaps. x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Oh Mum to one that sounds grim, (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))

I planned some lessons, whch helps and now decided to not do school work in the evenings - simply because I don't actually do it and bringing it home just depresses me!

I feel sick about ou. absolutely sick. its all such a mess and I have no time till the weekend(andeven then???). I completely understand the knocking one on the head.
I really hope your wrist is ok? whats up with your neighbours? Hospitals are grim but its ounds like you got seen quickly

also Laptop is staying in my room!

hope tomorrow is better xx I am going to remember that small steps to get to giant leaps. good to remember

Laptop is upstairs! given out Avon books, about to book an online doctors appointment, I have organised my work for tonight - its a bit much be hey I am sure a cup of tea will help.

I actually think - just a completely personal and inappropriate aside here - that the doctor I saw about six months ago might be right. I think I do get depressed or suffer from depression or how ever you say it! yesterday was so bad, for no particular reason. today I feel much better, yet nothing really has changed. ho hum.

I spent 80p plus 1.80 plus 3.20 to get home today, I had to bring work home and so had to get bus train cab instead of bus, walk. but that is the first money I have spent since Friday. not bad.

did get Credit card bills today, bit of forgotten spending there, but can be paid off. bit worried that I did a balance transfer about two weeks ago and nothing has moved yet. its set up to be paid with a dd so I won't get done but I just want it to move!

right off to book doc and pay cc bills.

    see you tomorrow

Youve done really well, all that organisation, sounds like youve turned a corner and getting to where you want.

Cup of tea - should of been a glass of wine!

def feel a lot better now drooped the one course, still about a month behind on business, but my tutor is one a million, so its yet another extension, actually intend to surprise her one of these days and get an assisgnment in on time, (nxt one b 4/7, so maybe no 5 be the lucky one).

Not very money saving, bu just booked a break for Nov 2 weeks in Tunisa, my treat to aim for, staying at posher hotel, but stayed there b4, and my excuse (10/10), as im on crutches, know the hotel, my friends a rep out there, she always gets me nice rm, and its all in, so spending money all mine, dd staying with parenst, but wish me luck, takeing her there nxt yr 2 weeks, (need a mth to recover after that!).

You take care and good luck at the docs. x

    Ouuuuuuuuuuch
My tooth hurts SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO badly. basically my crown fell out about two months ago, that was put in cos the tooth cracked, dentist took out most of tooth and half the root, but today whilst I was eating my dinner I felt some thing "go" and can feel its cracked again into my gumline.

I can take painkillers, must get some tomorrow. but this means the dentist can't be put off. Oh GOd that is going to be so expensive:eek:   I really need a smiley that shows me scared and shaking I 'll just stick with crying

Hi Mum to one - its really good you post on here you know! it means a lot thanks xx I think the holidays sounds perfect and they are all good reasons to go! ;) it is a GREAT treat to aim for. when you think of how rubbish things are you can look forward to the holiday!

    My Weekend plans

may involve being in agonising pain need to go shopping write two essays and 120 reports:o hmmmm. need to make a serious list and put in all my flylady skills to get through that!

    shopping list
    1. choc drops
    2. go to post office
    3. buy painkillers, from superdrug
    4. should book the treat thing for my friends
    5. see if I can get in the dentist? (prods tooth with tongue ouch!!!) so thats a yes then.
then come home and collect Avon books, write essays, write reports, plan menu for next week(starting ww) and repeat on sunday.

I will be very happy if that happens.

    Hi Buffy!

I have read your whole thread (I was very intrigued my your username and then got caught in your story :D ).

I wanted to say a few things that may not make any difference to your problems but: I think you are a very courageous and sensitive woman. And I admire you for trying to solve your problems. So there you are! :D

I could write a novel telling you how I can emphasize with you. I am not in debt, but I am really bad with money, but REALLY. And I had the feeling that I was reading my own thoughts while reading you :o .

If you want to move out, why don't you try housesharing? It is not just for students. I have a 30 year old colleague who lives in a houseshare while saving for a deposit for a house.

As for your job: oh how I understand you :p . I am a teacher too, an NQT. I try not to work in the evenings. I arrive very early in the morning (7.15) and leave at 6 in the evening but try never to bring any work home. I work during the weekend too, but I set a certain number of hours for this.

And I love pets too! I have 2 guinea pigs and a lovely hamster that I rescued 2 weeks ago :D

Come on Buffy, you can do it! I will bookmark your thread and follow your adventures :D . You are a star :T

Sursum corda! (now you know what I teach:p )

    Ellie

PS: the car bit: driving has changed my life.
